Beautiful 2-bedroom/3 full baths on the tranquil San Bernard River in Brazoria

'Elda's House' is a great vacation rental on the beautiful San Bernard River! It is a 1,412 square foot, one-story, brick house that has been totally renovated from top to bottom. There are two ensuite bathrooms for a total of 3 full bathrooms. The hall bathroom has a combination tub/shower, whereas the other two are shower only. One bedroom offers a king size bed while the other has a queen size bed. Both mattresses are brand new and very firm. There is no need to bring towels or wash cloths or hair dryers; we have all you will need! You will enjoy the very large, modern kitchen with two types of coffee makers. We provide all of the dishes, silverware, glasses, coffee cups, and cooking pots and pans you could possibly need. The family room has two matching reclining leather love seats, two leather chairs, and a leather sofa bed with a full size mattress. We have two eating areas; the first is in the dining room and the second is a small, but very unique wooden table off of the kitchen where you can look outside toward the river and enjoy your morning coffee and play board or card games. A washer and dryer are provided for you as well sin the garage. Guests may not park their cars inside of the garage, but will have access to the garage for washing and drying clothes. Walk through the back door to a covered porch which offers comfortable patio furniture, an outdoor sink, and a propane grill. The house is located on nearly an acre and is set close to the street. The south side of the property borders the river. We have a dock from which you may drink your coffee in the morning or quietly listen to nature at its finest. From the dock, you can swim, boat, fish, or simply relax. Please choose 'Elda's House' for your upcoming vacation stay. Lastly, if you are looking for a larger house, we also offer 'Peaches Retreat' next door to 'Elda's House.' It has five bedrooms and can accommodate up to 14 people. It has 3,350 square feet of interior space and over 3,000 square feet of decking.

Other things to note:
We only rent to adults over 25 years old and families with a responsible and respectful attitude. No smoking, pets, fireworks or house parties. A rental contract will be emailed to booked guests to review and sign. Exceeding the maximum number of guests or breaking the house rules will result in a non-refundable eviction.
Several neighbors are full-time residents and as a result it is extremely important to be quiet and respectful. These house rules will be spelled out in the Contract, which you will receive after booking.
The big deals:
- Check-in is after 3 PM on first day, check-out is before 11 AM on last day.
- We rent to responsible adults & families. The house is not to be used for graduation, prom, wedding, or fraternity/sorority activities. - NO house parties will be permitted. Our neighbors have the right to quiet enjoyment and safety, as do you!
- Elda's Houset is on a septic system. Maximum occupancy is 4 adults and 2 children. Nothing but TP in the toilets!
-No eating or drinking in bedrooms.
- No pets, no smoking, no fireworks, no RV’s. Please leave the BBQ grill where it is. Please clean grill and utensils after use.
- Pricing, booking, rents, and deposits are all handled via the booking agencies. Please stay out of areas marked “Private”.

- Be safe! Swimming and boating are at your own risk.
When you arrive:
- The front door key is in a secure lock box – you’ll receive the code prior to occupancy. There is a $250 fee assessed for losing the front door key. Towels will be in all bathrooms. These stay in the house – please bring your own beach towels.
When you leave:
-Please leave the entire home as neat and tidy as you found it on arrival.
- Please leave your beds unmade. The maids will then know which linens need to be replaced.
- Please wash any dishes you used and replace them in the cupboards.
- Please replace the key in the lock box, shut all windows, close and lock all doors.
- Make sure you get everything out of the fridge and freezer! And don’t forget clothes, chargers, beach towels, and shoes.
- All trash needs to be taken to the blue dumpster located east of the driveway.
-There is a 3-night minimum stay for Holiday Weekends.

Additional rules
PLEASE NOTE: We have a rental agreement that needs to be signed and sent back upon booking.

NO Parties/Events/Gatherings/DJs - if the number of occupants on the property exceeds the booking/rental agreement, this will result in loss of security deposit and asked to leave.
