Tammy and Ryan were excellent hosts! They took care of any concerns right away and made us feel welcome. I will definitely be back. Thank you to the Pringle family for letting us stay at the ranch!!
We really enjoyed our time together. We have a pretty large group and it is difficult to find a place with room for us. Waunita did that and more. Plenty of room to eat, play, swim and visit. Thanks for the retreat. A few in our group could not attend at the last minute, so I hope we can try again sometime.
WOW...our group had a FANTASTIC time. This was a 70th birthday celebration and for our group of 28 we were all so grateful to be able to get away from city life and experience Colorado the way it should be experienced! The Pringle Family at Waunita Ranch went above and beyond our expectations. The accommodations were very clean & pristine. We loved how our family and friends were able to stay privately on this amazing ranch. The hot springs "pool" was the perfect hangout for the teens and adults alike! The grounds of the ranch are breathtakingly beautiful and relaxing on the front porch was a common theme for the long weekend. For those more adventurous, lots of activities all around the area from horseback riding, ATVing, white water rafting, etc. We also were indulgent and took part of the meal plan and it was delicious and plentiful to say the least! The Pringle Family is so service focused that they allowed us to set meal times and any and all dietary restrictions are accommodated!
Our group was sad to leave, in fact there were even a few tears! Thank you Pringle Family for allowing us to be in your spectacular home for 3 days. You certainly made us feel welcomed and loved.
The images do not do it justice! Beautiful property, several rooms and amazing kitchen. We held a small celebration for our elopement and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Friends and family loved the large heated pool and hot tub. Perfect get away and looking forward to going back!
A great time was had by all. The place is great for kids and adults. The food they prepared for us was absolutely delicious. The pool was a hit by everyone.
We had a large family reunion with 38 of my children and grandchildren. The Wuanita Ranch was perfect for everything we needed! We has plenty of space for everyone. Everyone had their own space with rooms and beds to spare. Everyone had their own bathroom and we never ran out of hot water! They had everything we needed to cook and feed such a large group. The pool was a huge hit for all ages and the young ones loved the playground! We couldn’t have asked for more! The Pringles were very nice and accommodating. Even though they live on the property, we never saw them. It was very private and comfortable! We definitely will be planning another trip!
Had a great time on the property. It was exactly what we had been looking for. Plenty of room for a large group. We had 35 people in our group and never once did we feel crowded. Everyone was able to have their own bathrooms which was a nice touch for a large group. Ride in right out access was awesome. Only 12 miles to pitkin. Lots of area in yard for the kids to play. The heated pool was very nice after a long day of riding. Hope to return again

Beautiful Ranch, amazing family fun!
My entire family planned a vacation together, I believe there were 37 of us total. We found the ranch and it couldn't have worked out any better. It was great to have everyone in the same place, yet have the privacy of having their own rooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There were tons of games available for use as well as the TV area and pool table. The kitchen area was wonderful. We planned and cooked our own meals and had plenty of area to store our food and plenty of kitchen items to use to get everything cooked. The hot springs pool was amazing and great fun for everyone. We enjoyed many activities at the ranch and in the area, such as use of the RZR's, horseback riding, rafting, hiking, shopping, playing games and just relaxing and enjoying each other's company. The Pringles made us feel at home and were very helpful if we needed something or had questions. Plain and simply the ranch is beautiful, calm and peaceful. We had a wonderful time here and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Thanksgiving was wonderful at Waunita!
What a wonderful experience to have our family stay at Waunita over Thanksgiving. We packed the lodge and the hillside lodge. Four turkeys, 1 ham and all the fix in's later.... we played games, watched football and some of us just relaxed on Thanksgiving day. Everything was so clean and well taken care of. Gunnison and Crested Butte have great restaurants and shopping all within driving distance of the Ranch. We look forward to staying again next year. What a great experience for all of us. We'll be back!!!
