THE LODGE

It has a fully equipped modern kitchen with dining table to seat a large group. Large windows overlook the lake, trees, and mountains.
Sleeping: 6 bedrooms sleep 12 adults plus 3 children (2 bedrooms have built-in twin beds for kids who want to sleep near parents). Two upper bedrooms have walls that don't reach the ceiling for airflow - so not ideal for light sleepers. All bed linens are provided
AMENITIES:

THE PROPERTY:
The owners live on site. The owners have their own space in an in-law apartment on the ground floor. They live there with their two children and a dog. They have a separate driveway and entrance. In the winter, they are often skiing in the mountains all day.
The lodge is one of the few houses on Mirror Lake. Mirror Lake. It has just about a dozen homes on its shores. It is known for ice fishing. The lake is stocked with fish and visited by bald eagles and also blue heron, and loons in the summer.

Very communicative host, very cool property in an old barn style house. Near many cool places year round and lots of space. Would love thicker window blinds to block out the light in the morning!
We spent 3 cozy nights in Laura and Kevin's cabin and it was a perfect getaway! The cabin has everything that is needed. The fireplace and hot tub were particularly welcome amenities. The location was convenient to multiple ski options and attractions. Laura and Kevin are kind and communicative and we very much appreciate that they cleared the snow right after the snowstorm so we were able to access our vehicles. Great experience all around!
The location was so awesome. We spent most of our time by the pond. House was clean, very cabin-y, had a fireplace. It's just a little small for a large number of people, but overall it was great.
Our kids are now adults and still want to vacation together and this was the perfect place to do that. Private and quiet yet close to so many adventures. Check-in was a breeze and the owners were available and responsive but did not intrusive on our time at all. I highly recommend this vacation property.
This is a beautiful property, and beautiful clean lake but I will say the family who lives downstairs was very present during our stay. They were friendly, but always around. If you’re looking for privacy I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place.
Awesome location with everything we needed for a weekend with the family.
Even with the rain we had plenty for the kids to do with the large open floor plan and board games.
We will definitely be back again!
This property is a gem! There were 11 of us, ages 75 to 8 months and it was perfect for everyone! We loved having the beach and calm watered cove for the littles; the kayaks and pedal boat was loved by the teens and adults and everyone appreciated being able to eat all together - both inside and out! It's rare to find a place that has a big enough table! Beds were comfortable, the hot tub was a nice relaxing evening activity and Laura was very easy to communicate with, both before and during our stay. I would definitely recommend this home!
Our extended family had a lovely time. The grandchildren particularly enjoyed walking outside and jumping into the secluded cove that leads out to Mirror Lake. A very restful location.
We really enjoyed our home away from home for our annual friend's weekend away. The property has a lot to offer in addition to the great location for hiking in the White Mountains. The lake, hot tub, deck, fire pit, and more just added to the eexperience!
Once again our family was able to relax,, cook together, kayak, swim , have fun and be comfortable at the Mountain lodge.
We are so grateful to Laura, Kevin and the boys .
Property was very clean, cozy, and had plenty of space! Outdoor space was also very beautiful. We loved the area too. What a enchanting view each morning as the fog danced around the lake surface
We really enjoy being at Mirror Lake Lodge , we appreciate the rustic feeling of this old New Hampshire building with it's views of the lake and mountains. We do all our own cooking, so, the completely furnished modern kitchen is a delight for our group to use for meal preparation and an excellent dish washer for easy cleanup.
From the booking process through the end of our stay, Laura and Kevin were wonderful and attentive hosts. We have stayed at this lodge in the past and the upgrades have been a great addition. Communication prior to arrival was thorough and had all the necessary information we needed. We took advantage of the fireplace and even got out on the serene lake for a paddle boat. We will absolutely visit again! Thank you for a much needed weekend getaway!
This was our 2nd stay here as a family, we loved it the first time and glad we could do it again. Loved the lake, the new hot tub, and all the water sports equipment. Always nice waking up to this view each day. The interior room options are great and works for a variety of sleeping situations. Laura was great w/ communication ahead of time - very easy experience. Highly recommend
