About the host
Hosted by Michael LoSchiavo
I’m Michael from Jupiter... haha, and I'm from Mars! I heard that more in my youth than your could imagine. But on a serious note, I grew up in a small town in South Florida called Jupiter. I've spent a few years in Tampa, a few years in Virginia, and have been in Orlando FL since 2011.
I'm a husband, dad of three children, and sports coach who values time well spent and experiences shared. I’m a dog lover, very health-conscious, and part of a family cattle farm, which keeps me grounded, active, and connected to nature. Self-employed as an architect and builder, I appreciate having the flexibility to work while hosting our home that we cant enjoy enough ourselves. I have tried to create spaces that feel thoughtful, comfortable, and easy to enjoy — places that support both connection and quiet moments. The best memories aren’t wrapped—they’re lived, and they tend to outlast any holiday or celebration.

Why they chose this property
We didn’t “find” this neighborhood—we grew up vacationing here. Long before Quail Creek Lodge & Inn became ours, this was where our family gathered year after year. Alongside nearly 15 other families, we spent countless summers and weekends in this very area, originally renting from the well-known Kelly family of Afton. Those traditions shaped so many of our favorite memories.
Both of our parents grew up just minutes from here, and this land has always been part of our story. Our grandparents on our mother’s side still farm the adjoining property to the northwest, and the rhythms of that working farm remain part of daily life. The views, the open skies, the quiet evenings, and the connection to the land are not staged—they’re authentic.
We chose this location because it isn’t just beautiful—it’s personal. It represents generations, community, and a place where families gather, unplug, and reconnect. Sharing this setting with our guests feels less like hosting and more like welcoming you into something that has meant so much to us for so long.

What makes this property unique
What truly sets our property apart is its ability to bring people together—comfortably and intentionally. Designed for large gatherings, retreats, and multi-family stays, Quail Creek Lodge & Inn sleeps up to 22 guests without feeling crowded, with generous common spaces to support more. Multiple gathering areas inside and out, thoughtfully arranged sleeping quarters allow everyone to spread out while still enjoying time together.
Every bedroom features new furniture and upgraded bedding, with comfort prioritized throughout the home. After a full day outdoors, you’ll return to high-quality mattresses, fresh linens, and inviting spaces designed for rest and relaxation.
Location is another major advantage. We are surrounded by some of the region’s most popular lakes, offering boating, fishing, and water recreation just a short drive away. Whether you’re planning a summer day on the water or an early morning cast at sunrise, access is easy and convenient.
This area is also known for world-class hunting opportunities available through nearby hunt lodges and private leases. While hunting is not permitted on our property due to active farming operations, our lodge serves as an ideal home base—offering comfort, space, and a welcoming place to gather before and after your time in the field.
Beyond recreation, the property is also well suited for work-related stays and agricultural events. With its large capacity and comfortable layout, it’s an excellent option for hosting teams attending cattle auctions, farming conferences, or other agricultural business ventures in the area.
Unlike many properties that simply offer space, we offer capacity with comfort, location with legacy, and amenities that support both productive gatherings and restful nights. Whether you’re here for a family reunion, a hunting trip, a lake weekend, or a business-related event, this property is built to handle your group—with room to breathe.
