Great location and plenty of space for 2-3 people. Near plenty of restaurants, subway and Central Park.It is a 3 floor walkup, so be ready for some stairs.

DO NOT STAY HERE.The biggest issue is that the listing fails to disclose that this is a third-floor walk-up with no elevator. If you have heavy luggage or simply don't want to climb three flights of stairs several times a day, this is important information that should have been included in the listing.The listing also advertises a king bed, but it is actually two twin mattresses pushed together. That is not the same thing. Two standard twin mattresses do not provide the same sleeping surface as a standard king bed. There is also the seam between the mattresses.Communication was so frustrating. Instead of having a readily available local host, I was directed to communicate through WhatsApp, and my primary contact appeared to be in a different country and several time zones ahead of New York. The bathroom shower is also poorly designed. The shower door swings inward, leaving very little room to get inside before closing it. Anyone who is larger will find it awkward to maneuver. To make matters worse, when you turn on the shower, the initial burst of cold water hits you.You hang your clothes in the kitchen!! We were locked out because the entry code had been changed and had to wait for it to be reset before we could get back into the apartment. Deja would not offer refund so going to small claims court is only option.

Very glad I chose to stay at this property instead of a hotel. It is comfortable and much more relaxing. The location is great, it’s close to bus and subway stops. There is a grocery store nearby but also lots of good restaurants within sight of the property. The host was responsive and answered my questions quickly. I hope to visit NYC again and would definitely return.
