Tucked behind our Victorian home, this private 140-year-old carriage house is a quiet garden retreat just a five-minute walk to downtown Washington. Located in the back of our garden beside a 100-year-old magnolia tree, the interior has been fully restored with new construction and modern comforts—exposed beams and rafters, a full kitchen with all-new appliances (range, dishwasher, refrigerator), and all-new furniture, including a Safe Bed in the living room, flooring, and lighting. The home includes one bedroom, a built-in closet, and washer/dryer hookups, and is available for both short-term and long-term bookings.
Note: Not wheelchair accessible due to a gravel driveway, stepped garden path, and stepped entry to the bedroom and bathroom.
