I was visiting for a few days of rest and relaxation. From the warm welcome to the fond farewell I was completely at home. The property is very clean, extremely well equipped and managed with such care by the owners, Jennifer and Russell. Hospitality and kindness matters very much to them! The glorious panoramic sea view had me welcoming the dawn on the deck and watching the colors of the sunset in the hot Tub. I did not want to leave! A total gem of place

We had a wonderful stay in this villa to celebrate our 25th anniversary! Our host, Jen was extremely accommodating and responsive. The house itself was extremely clean and comfortable. The view from the back deck and hot tub area was gorgeous...we spent a lot of time there! There is even a little concrete dock down the cliff on the water where we could sunbath, swim or kayak. Bermuda can be challenging to get around if you don't rent a car or scooter, (we rented a car) but Jen also mentioned there were electric bikes available if needed. We would love to come back and we hope to stay a little longer next time!

This place is amazing!!! Jen and Russell were wonderful hosts. The house has a beautiful view, and was easy to get into Hamilton for my husband’s work, along with other sites around the island. It is walking distance to the bus and ferry stations. Our favorite amenity was their private dock for swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding and kayaking. We have been coming to Bermuda for years and it is a hidden gem! My brother in law and niece did a deep sea fishing excursion and absolutely loved it. Jen thinks of everything to provide in the house and goes above and beyond to help you during your stay. Our family had the best time! We will definitely be back!

Capt. Russell & Jen Young
MasterView is a home steeped in Bermuda’s rich seafaring tradition. Built in 1960 by Capt. Russell Young (Senior), the property has been thoughtfully renovated over the past seven years by his son, Capt. Russell Young Jr., and his wife, Jen.
Capt. Russell is a highly respected charter fisherman, proudly following in his father’s footsteps. His legendary vessel, the Sea Wolfe, is based at Pier 41 Marina in Dockyard, just two miles from MasterView. During the fishing season, Russell is often out on the water fishing the banks, a true Bermuda experience for those interested in deep-sea adventures.

While Russell is at sea, Jen is on hand to ensure guests are well looked after. From welcoming you on arrival to offering local insight, recommendations, and assistance throughout your stay, Jen is dedicated to providing a warm, seamless, and attentive hosting experience while always respecting your privacy.
Together, Jen and Russell are proud to share their family home, heritage, and love of the ocean with guests seeking an authentic and unforgettable Bermuda stay.

Why they chose this property

MasterView is tucked away at the end of a little winding lane overlooking the water (Bermuda's Great Sound). Surrounded by water and lush green space, MasterView is serene and private. A 5 min. walk takes you to the bus stop & two ferry docks. The Royal Naval Dockyard is a 10 min. bus ride (2 miles) away. 'Dockyard' is the jewel in Bermuda's crown, with a Marina (where Capt. Russell keeps his sport fishing boat, the Sea Wolfe), restaurants, mini golf, beaches and watersports galore. Reach out to Jen for more info. on what to do in Bermuda.

What makes this property unique

Just a few things we think you will want to know about MasterView...A quick shout out to our cleaners, they are simply the BEST in all of Bermuda and we are so lucky to have them. MasterView guests can rest assured that every inch of the home is 'squeeky clean'.

In Bermuda Water is collected from the roof tops and stored in a tank below the house. Of course it's important to conserve water when you can, but more importantly we want you to know that we have a state of the art water filtration system, meaning that there is no need for bottled water. We change our filters regularly, ensuring you have the purest water to drink right from the tap.

Air Conditioning is a must in the summer months...we are very particular about keeping our units clean and free of mold and debris. Our Air Conditoners are regularly cleaned and flushed out from our favorite AC guys at NevCo. They are the best!
