Perfect retreat!

The property was perfect for our family (six adults and an infant and 2-year old). It is a beautiful home with wonderful spaces to relax and enjoy each other. The house was equipped with everything we needed and the wonderful porch and abundant outdoor furniture made for enjoyable evenings watching the Austrian sunset. Our host was extremely communicative, very helpful (thank you for the crib!) and generous. We are already planning our return trip in 2023!

Amazing Family Vacation

As Sisters we brought our 2 families to stay at the beautiful Hackerberg home as we were having a family reunion in a nearby town. The house is beautiful, description of rooms and amenities are very accurate. There was room for 6 adults and 1 child in beds. Lots of room to lounge and the dining table was huge. The nicest amenity was the wrap around porch. There were beautiful places to sit all day in or out of the sun. The views were gorgeous and at night the stars and moon were an outstanding view over the meadows. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need. A full size Fridge was fantastic. This was an awesome retreat but so close to so many Amenities and shopping. We visited the Therme, some went Downhill Mountain biking, Shopping in Oberwart and a trip to Graz. Would rent again when we return to see family in future years.

our second time in this beautiful home!

This is the second year in a row that we have stayed in this beautiful and comfortable home in Hackerberg. The generous house is just perfect for a family catch up with its huge open living kitchen- dining-living room and the extensive porches all around the house with several big bedrooms. - And spring how glorious everything blossomed - we sat in the warm April sunshine outside watching the kids play and enjoying the vast views of forest and distant hills. The great excursion options of the region entertained all family and our children particularly loved the many thermal bath options just 15mins away! vineyards, great Buschenschanken and the excellent produce of the area enticed and we explored Hackerberg’s surroundings looking for food treasures. Hackerberg itself is a small hamlet but belongs to the bigger village Neudau that offers a supermarket and needed amenities.. Having a car is opening all sorts of adventures in the area, but we all agreed that biking along the local rivers might be a wonderful variation and allow different view upon this charming and beautiful part of Austria. We hope to come back again!

Absolute Ruhe

Wer wirklich einmal abschalten möchte und Ruhe in einem tollen Haus mit super Ausstattung, tollem Ausblick und schönem Garten sucht ist hier genau richtig!! Trotz allem sind Thermen und Supermärkte schnell erreichbar. Auch ein Trip nach Wien ist in 1,5 h Fahrr leicht möglich.

Dream House with Sunset Views

We had the most lovely stay in this beautiful property in early May 2022. The house is set by itself on a slope overlooking beautiful fields and forests with distant hill views. All this is even more enjoyable as the house has extensive desks and a south westerly orientation so you can enjoy spectacular sunset and actually optimise any weather circumstance. There is one bedroom on the ground floor and two bedrooms upstairs, each with their own bathroom. Size and flow of the house are very generous, the ground floor is light with huge windows and multiple accesspoints to the verandas, and we loved cooking in the gorgeous kitchen and enjoyed the cosy but tasteful and creative interior design - this house is a pearl! We were a party of 6 adults with some children and the accommodation was a perfect fit for our family reunion, that suited grandparents privacy as well as space requirements by young families. Communication with the owners was easy and super fast and we very much appreciated to be allowed to check in early when one of our kids got sick on the way to the accommodation.
