About Phillip Schultz
Susie and I worked in the San Francisco Bay area for over 3 decades. We purchased our Maui Kamaole condo so we could have a place we love on the best island in the world! After many visits, we decided we loved it here so much that we purchased a house and retired here in 2005. Therefore, we now have our beloved condo available to rent out to vacationers who wish to experience all Maui can offer for relaxation and its many fun activities.

Why Phillip Schultz chose Kihei
After spending substantial time researching all the condo complexes on Maui, we narrowed our list of favorite condos complexes to just a few based on a set of 12 criteria (I was an engineer after all). We then watched the listings until what we felt was the ideal unit for us came up for sale. Maui Kamaole is fairly recently constructed, low density and beautifully landscaped complexes in South Maui. South Maui is known for its beautiful beaches and low annual rainfall, so it is less likely that your vacation will be rained on than any other Maui location.
What makes this Condo unique
The Maui Kamaole complex has two pools, and we are located in the middle of the complex and only a short walk to the tropical pool which has a interesting waterfall as well as a sand bottom spa. From our condo it is about a 5 minute walk to Kamaole III Beach Park, one of the favorites for the many locals. Since our condo was in the last cluster built in 2000, we have all the newest and best features of the complex. Also, we are frequently on-island and in addition we employ a professional property manager and an outstanding cleaner, so someone is always available to help out with your vacation wants and needs.

Outstanding Property and Host
The Unit is very clean and well stocked. The location on the property is perfect location close to pools, BBQ area and parking. The unit itself has a great layout with two beds and lots of light into the unit. The property manager had great communication and help with our booking and having stayed in many units on the property this is by far the best experience we have had.
Comfortable Condo
Phil, the owner helped us out right away when some beach chairs needed to be replaced. The beds were comfortable. The unit very clean. We would of like some plastic tumblers and a cooler.
Maui Kamaole early 2020
The condo was very comfortable for 3 adults for our short stay. The alcove second bedroom worked well. We visited Kihei first for 4 days before staying elsewhere on Maui for the remainder of our vacation. We have stayed at this property (not this specific condo) before and we love the location. Everything was as promised in the listing. The unit is older but is in decent shape. We found the south-facing lanai was too hot for the afternoon, with little to no shade. Phillip was very good at answering our questions at the time of booking.
Nice people, great location
The couple who own this are really attentive and care about your visit. The location of the condo is good and the access to services/pools etc is ideal. The condo itself, while clean and well equipped is dated and needs a bit of updating VS others we saw in similar price ranges.
