R Villa - Walk to Steps Beach with POOL, Ocean View & BOCCE Court

This newly renovated home, located in the Ensenada neighborhood is walking distance to steps beach and a handful of excellent restaurants and bars. Just a quick drive (30 minutes) from the local airport, rafael hernández airport (bqn) in aguadilla or 2 hours from the luiz munoz airport (sju) in san juan.

Enjoy beautiful sunsets every evening from the back patio or talk a short walk down the road to dip your toes into the warm water at steps beach. Take advantage of the world class snorkeling and scuba diving at steps beach with turtles, exotic fish and the largest elkhorn coral reef in the caribbean. Stunning views of desecheo island, whale sightings occur throughout the winter months and world class surfing can be had at tres palmas beach. Take a short walk to other surf spots such as dogmans, maria's and domes.

Cool off in our newly built 15x30’ salt water pool. Enjoy cooking in our fully stocked kitchen, or barbecuing on the back patio with friends and family. Have fun playing bocce on the 50'x10' court in the backyard. Outdoor dining under the covered patio seats 10 people comfortably. There’s plenty of other seating around the pool and covered area’s for resting and relaxation. The home comes fully stocked to meet your every need. Air conditioning in all the bedrooms.

A newly installed solar system runs the house on clean energy. In the event of a power outage one must be careful when running the a/c units or it will drain the batteries quickly.
We also have well water so there will never be a water outage at the house.

Head out to the many local restaurants and bars within walking distance. If you are looking for something to do other than surf, try scuba diving, sailing, deep sea fishing, horseback riding, shopping, movies and many more activities within minutes of the house.

Wonderful stay!

The house is absolutely beautiful and the location is amazing. It’s a short walk to the beach and we swam in the pool every day. The back porch is lovely and a great place to relax in the evening. The decor was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. A few appliances could use a replacement (dishwasher, washing machine) but they worked and didn’t impact our stay at all. One of the best vacations of my life.

Great location, just a short walk to the beach & 5 minute drive from town plaza. The house was great, and owners were very responsive to issues like lightbulb going out in bathroom. The stay couldn't have been better. Great for family to relax and awesome spot to host a nice gathering. Can't wait to return!

Great house! Fantastic pool area!

The house was GREAT and just as pictured so you can book with confidence that you get exactly what you see. Everything from booking to checkin to checkout was seamless. The pool area was just fantastic. Really fantastic! Location was just slightly removed from downtown but still very close. The one thing to know is there was a bit of road noise especially at night and all of us found the mattresses a bit too firm for us but everyone likes something different and some will love them! The only con was the quality of communication from the management company during the stay. But overall I’d book here again and recommend others do as well.

Wonderful property - exceptionally clean!

This is a great property conveniently located to everything you would want to do in Rincon. As others have mentioned, it is located very close to the road and the road noise is noticeable because you have to keep the windows open in the front of the house because AC units are in the bedrooms only. Other than this minor note, this place is wonderful. Exceptionally clean, the yard and grounds are wonderful - the pool area is second to none and we have stayed in numerous properties over the last 10 years. I cannot stress enough how clean the home is (very important to me) and the sheets on the beds were extremely comfortable - 100% cotton and very crisp and fresh as were the pillows. Definitely attention to detail is given with this home. The covered carport and super awesome/modern fans both inside the home and outside were a pleasant surprise and they do a fantastic job of keeping the air moving. Loved the one-story layout as we were vacationing with our two grandsons ages 6 and years old and it was a great floorplan for both families or a group of adults.

Beach Vibes Were Good

Great property with a beautiful pool/back porch and easy access to beaches and restaurants. We were a group of five - two adults and three kids (13,12, and 7) and it was perfect for us. You can exit the property by going through the farm and exit to a street that didn't have much traffic. Go right and you are a two block walk from Steps beach, great for sunsets and tide pools. Go left and you are a block from shops and restaurants as well as the calmer Marina beach. We hit up Shipwrecks for dinner and drinks and got ice cream a few times before walking home. Katarina's Sail is also based here so we could walk here for a snorkeling tour. The pool and back porch are amazing. We used this every day and at night while the kids swam the adults could enjoy a few drinks on the porch. As mentioned, there's only AC in the bedrooms which can make the rest of the house steamy during the day when you need to take a sun break. The second bathroom also could use an update to match the modern master bathroom. But overall the location and back pool can't be beat. If you're looking for a chill beach vacation spot with great access to the western end of the island this is it. We will be back!

Perfect spot in Rincon

Property is in a great location in Rincon. You can go thru back gate and in a couple of blocks to the right you are at steps beach. A couple of blocks to the left, you are in the marina, which is a great beach spot too. There is some noice from the road, but besides that, we loved aour stay. Even our teenagers loved it. Pool was perfect after a full day at the beach. Keep mosquito zapper handy in the evenings. Thank you for sharing your home with us

Great Place

Our 3rd time staying in R Villa. Come to surf and enjoy the beach. Great property with everything you need. Can’t beat the location, easy walk to the marina and restaurants, plus 5-10 minutes to plenty of surf.

Spectacular experience!

We loved our time at R Villa! The area is 100% chill and laid back. The home, inside and out has everything you need! I loved reading about Leon, the property owner in the Welcome Guide. We would absolutely stay here again!! We will have to come back outside of summer so we can enjoy the garden and stand next door, I was sad it is closed for the summer but it makes sense. I walked to town every morning to get coffee from the corner bakery, and the locals are all so nice. Thank you for such a perfect place to stay on our first, but definitely not last, visit to Puerto Rico!

Rincón Getaway

This was a nice spacious property, clean, not far from the beach and a few nice restaurants within walking distance. Pool was a perfect temperature and I did not want to leave!!

Leon has lived in Rincon for well over 15 years and has loved every minute of it. After moving from NYC to the beaches of Rincon, the view of palm trees never gets old. Being able to swim or surf everyday at Steps, Tres Palmas, or any of the beautiful surf spots, hear the coqui frogs singing at night with the waves crashing on the beach, watching the most spectacular sunset every night, and eating fresh fruit that falls off the trees in the neighborhood is amazing
