We stayed here for the fenced yard for our pups. We did have an escape the first day, the fence doesn’t connect with anything under the stairs and she slipped out. Not a huge deal to us as we’re always with them but something to know if you’re renting for the yard for your pets. The lake is down right now in the off-season but I did see boats docking in the cove so plenty of depth to use boat slip. Enjoyed watching the ducks, squirrels, deer and the boats from the deck. There’s also tons of room to spread out and the rooms are big. I did feel like the kitchen was maybe missing a few things like dish towels and a sauce pot. There were plenty of towels, but there were no washcloths or hand towels. There were extra blankets to use and that was nice - the nights are still cold in March but we had a few days of sunny 80s! There isn’t a dartboard or the basketball game in the garage game room anymore, but we enjoyed the pool table. Owner was very helpful when we asked if we could exchange the propane tank and be reimbursed.
