If you are looking for calm waters and a great place for family fun, the Octagon House is for you! This spacious home is located at the 5 mile marker of the Little Niangua. The 2 level Octagon House offers a total of 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, newly renovated kitchen and living space. The upstairs had three bedrooms and a bathroom. Head downstairs to the master suite to enjoy the custom walk in shower and new soaker tub. The downstairs also has a large living area, a wine bar, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer. The unique octagon shape of the home allows guests to take in 180 degree views of the lake. With 198 ft of waterfront all to yourself, along with a HUGE private dock with 1 slip available for your boat and water toys, this property is perfect for guests be outside and enjoy fishing, swimming, and sunbathing. The dock is equipped with a refrigerator. If grilling outside is your thing, we have a gas grill for you in front of the house. Want to relax in the evening? This Octagon House has a Jacuzzi Hot Tub and patio to enjoy throughout your stay. If the weather turns, the home has a TV in the living area space upstairs. We also have complimentary high speed internet. This property is off the beaten path, allowing guests to relax in the tranquil environment that the lake offers. However, if you want to venture into town, the property is only 25 minutes from Camdenton, which has tons of restaurants and shopping venues for guest to enjoy. With 2 kings, 1 queen, Twin over Full bunk beds, a sleeper couch upstairs, and a futon downstairs, the Octagon House has plenty of space for all to enjoy.

We have Remodeled a modern studio space for guests to enjoy in the summer. The 450 sq ft space is included (included in rate) for summer months through September. The studio is on the same property and shares the driveway with the Octagon House. it is just steps away from Octagon House. Space features a full size and King Size Bed. There is also a bathroom with small shower. ROKU TV in the studio as well. High Speed Internet

Our girl’s trip was amazing with 9 women and the studio there was plenty of room. We had a great time in the lake(if you can believe it in October) and the hot tub! Everything was clean and tidy.

Girls weekend

It was the perfect house for our girls weekend. Plenty of room for all of us and beautiful views of the lake. It had everything we needed. House was a beautiful and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home with a spectacular view!

The property was perfect for our group. We loved being on the lake and swimming off the amazing dock. Plenty of room for our group to sleep, hang out and enjoy the amenities, such as the hot tub and deck space.

Great Place to stay!

This is our 2nd time staying at this house. House is clean and has everything we need. There is plenty of room for everyone. The cove is quiet and we spend a lot of time on the dock swimming and fishing.

We loved staying at the Octagon House! The house is amazing and on a perfect spot of the lake. We loved spending time down by the dock enjoying the breeze. The house is spacious and decorated so nicely. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The Octagon at the Ozarks

Couldn’t be happier! The house was very clean and housed the 12 of us without any problems at all! The dock is second to none and provides plenty of room for everyone. The hot tub was an awesome cherry on top that everyone enjoyed. It is a little bit of a hike to get in and out of and to the nearest store, so if you want to get in and start relaxing, grab your groceries before. But once you get there you’ll have no reason to leave! Owners were very communicative and helpful. Might come back again next year! (By popular demand)

Excellent stay

This is a great property for lake fun. There were 12 of us: grandparents, parents and 6 children, and having a studio for four of the kids made it exceptional! The lake was not super busy where the property is located, so everyone who tried was able to wakeboard, tube and water ski without issue. There is a boat rental place who will deliver a boat right to the slip at the property, and gas for the boat a few doors down. We had a wonderful time; the house is very pleasant, with big windows looking out onto the lake as well as a nice deck overlooking the lake. The covered dock was cool to sit on and watch the boating activity. We have done big family get togethers many times, usually in the Colorado mountains, but this location and the house itself provided for one of the better get-togethers we've had! I highly recommend renting this house for your getaway! One note -- the location is super, but it is a bit of a drive to a big store, so best to bring food along with you when you arrive.

Amazing views and amazing memories

Our family was so happy with how beautiful the views were. The home is gorgeous and so unique. The hosts are so kind and very communicative and so helpful with any requests. We came from California and were not familiar with the area and the host gave us suggestions and addresses of things close by. We caught fish right off the dock Blue gill, sunfish and catfish. We made life long memories with the kids. Owner let us use their dock to rent a boat. (Highly recommend lakerunners) A few turtles seem to stay at the dock, so the kids were excited to see them each day. We didn’t use the spa or fire pit because it was too hot, but each of those spots had their own cozy corner. Also, the photos do not do the summer separate home justice. I mean wow! Everyone wanted that space. It was so cute and nice and private. One of our favorite family trips so far. Thank you so much!

House was not at all as it was represented. I am surprised by all the positive reviews. The pictures make it look spectacular and it was not. The bug problem and spider webs were the worst. I would recommend professional pest control. It almost ruined the whole enjoyment. Then the hot tub was filthy and said water needed to be changed and property manager never responded.

Beautiful view of the lake, multiple outdoor spaces, great swimming, fishing, and plenty of space for a large group.We enjoyed our stay but wished a little more care had been put into the upkeep and stock of amenities.We unfortunately could only enjoy the firepit for maybe 20 minutes before we ran out of propane with no backup onsite or nearby. The propane for the grill also ran out after using it just twice. These were highlights of why we booked the property so a bummer to not be able to use fully.While the main house living spaces and bedrooms were clean, there were a lot of cobwebs and bugs on outdoor furniture and indoor blinds, and the studio space had a mildew smell. The top dishwasher rack track was also broken so very difficult to load/unload.

At the time of check in the A/C was set at 88 degrees and it was nearly 95 outside... very uncomfortable for the entire first night we were there. We did have an issue w garbage disposal/kitchen sink drain but the host had someone come over right away and fixed the issue. The house is in a great location on the lake and offers alot of amenities. Felt as tho it could have been a little cleaner... lots of cob webbs and spiders but overall we did enjoy our stay and the views.

House was great! dock was perfect, we had a multi-day pontoon rental and it fit perfect. Love the location, away from the madness of central lake. Aside from boating, never left the house once.

Beautiful, relaxing, peaceful spot

I stayed at this property three nights with my adult children (all in their 20’s) and their 1’s— there was 7 of us. We all enjoyed the chill vibe. There are enough rooms and spaces for everyone to get some separation when needed. Also lots of enjoyable “together” spaces like the deck, lower patio and giant dock. It is in a quiet area, so if that’s what you want this is a great choice! Would definitely go back.
