This is a gem of a property, and it was perfect for our mother-daughter getaway weekend. The full kitchen was well appointed, and included thoughtful touches like coffee, creamer and even amazing snacks from the local organic farm market. My daughter loved the loft bedroom with the private half bath. Not even five minutes away is the incomparable Storm King Art Center. The apartment is a fully separate part of a stunning converted barn home that looks out on lovely garden greenery, trees and hills. Parking is easy. The local farm to table restaurant, Blooming Hill Farm, is not to be missed - make advance reservations as it is popular for weddings and events. It also has the farm market! From the property it was an easy hop across the river to the towns of Beacon and Cold Spring for visiting Dia Beacon and walking about to check out the lovely small shops. The hostess even left a sweet handwritten note. We are already hoping to make it an annual destination! Great find, highly recommend.
