About the host
Hosted by Michelle Parker
We have been hosting for 8 years. We own the Hawthorne Historic Inn and this property along with The Loma Alta. This is our full time work. We enjoy restoring older historic homes.
Why they chose this property
This is the best walking neighborhood in San Diego. IT is considered the top destination spot in the United States by Trip advisor. We are one of just a few homes that are original to the area. The Sea Dahlia was built in 1914. There are a dozen hidden beaches you can walk to. The coast walk north takes you all the way to La Jolla shores Beach and going south you can walk to some of the most famous surf spots in southern CA.
What makes this property unique
This is one of the few remaining homes in La Jolla Village. You can walk to dinner, the park, the beach, the theatre, the grocery store etc. Our large beautiful patio looks out over the street and it is fun to watch people walk by. All the bedrooms are large and comfortable. All the sheets are cotton.
