Horrible time checking in. Facility was not aware and would not give us a key. Personally contacted Bryson Vacation Rentals and the representative refused to contact the Galvestonian. Since we were obviously confused and discouraged with the situation, the Galvestonian Front Desk Clerk called the local Police on me. Once they arrived, they shook their heads and informed me that the Galvestonian Clerk had decided to allow us to have access to our rental but if they "had any more issues with us" that we "would be forced to leave for good". We have utilized VRBO numerous times over the years, and we have never experienced such uninformed, rude, and negative atmosphere in a rental, which we had paid-in-full for prior to our arrival! Due to how we were treated, we never felt welcome by their staff.We have used VRBO for approximately 10 years and have never had any issues, always have good reviews. The condo was nice, smaller than we are used to, but it was nice.
