Get ready to relax in this 2-bedroom Rustin log cabin in peace. The space features 1-comfortable King size master bed in down stairs master suit, and comfy Queen size bed in cozy loft. Fabulous bathroom with stand up shower for your convenience. Guests enjoy a cozy atmosphere with both heating and AC to keep the temperature just right or fire place to bring back memory’s. Whether you’re unwinding after a day of adventure or simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings, this tremendous cabin offers a perfect retreat. You’re sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place. 10 min from many small towns with shops and history. Katy trails mins away in Rocheport. 20 min from Columbia where shopping or college sports and restaurants are always welcoming. Did we mention the lake is full of large fish. The Fishing dock and kayaks are ready, along with the fire pit and lawn chairs to relax and unwind. There are horses close and draft horses with wagon rides available weather permitting.

We had a fantastic stay! The property was gorgeous, well-maintained, and incredibly clean. Fishing and kayaking on the pond were highlights of our trip, and we caught plenty of fish. The evenings were quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind. The cabin comfortably accommodated our family of three and had everything we needed. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Wow! Photos do not do this place justice! We were visiting to watch softball regionals at CMU and then move her out of her dorm so just needed a place to sleep but we found so much more! It’s such a cute cabin and has everything you need (very well equipped by the owners), great WiFi, amazing beds (we felt like we were sleeping in a cloud), amazing views, covered wrap around porches, and an amazing pond/deck you can fish from! Hosts are great too! We really enjoyed our trip and will be staying again.
Hosts provided fishing poles and even bait - we caught (and released) about ten fish!

We were blessed to have found this private location and yet only 20 min away from whatever you needed. The pictures do not do this place justice. A cozy well kept and clean cabin with all the amenities of home. The pond is beautiful, my kids had a great time fishing and swimming. The kayaks were so much fun too. Once we entered the cabin we fell in love with the charming decor and cleanliness. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and clean up. The AC works great and all the fans kept the air moving which was great! We couldn't have asked for anything more and look forward to booking again in the near future. The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond with any questions and offered great suggestions on local businesses.

The property that the house is on is amazing. Pond has bass and bluegill. Plenty of space so it feels private. Has the log cabin look and was spotless inside. 2 beds, so if you have a few kids, there is plenty of room for a blow up mattress on the floor. Grill and rocking chairs on the porch facing the water… my favorite spot. 4 poles and some tackle, and we made it work. Don’t forget something to retrieve the hook… more on that later…The wife says: clean and well appointed. There was good WiFi & cell service (AT&T) There is a little corner store close by that serves lunches and has take home pizza, soda and alcohol, and some local beef.Husband again: we forgot pliers… and so the wife tells to call and see if the local store sells them… “they will probably just give you a pair to borrow!” Well, two trips later, I bought breakfast, lunch, and a local steak for dinner. I teased the lady cooking… that was the most expensive pair of needle nose pliers I have ever borrowed!Good people, good food, all around good place to spend some time away and relax. Could not recommend this place more.
