Code must be entered within 3 minutes or it will be sound and may automatically call local authority. • The fireplace is decorative only and not for use. • This home is in an urban neighborhood near the University of Washington. As with many central Seattle areas, you may occasionally see people experiencing homelessness nearby. The neighborhood is active and well-traveled, and guests commonly walk to shops, restaurants, and nearby parks comfortably throughout the day and evening. • The area is home to many students. Around scheduled trash pickup days, nearby alleys or sidewalks may appear busier or less tidy for short periods. • This is a historic home. Both front and back entrances require a few steps to enter. The staircase to the upper floor is steeper than modern standards, with a section of slightly lower ceiling height. Taller guests should take care when using the stairs. • Interior bedroom door hardware is original to the home, reflecting its historic character. Locks function properly but are not modern hotel-style locks. • Water pressure is typical for an older home and may feel slightly lower than in newer buildings, though showers function normally.
