Whistler - Cascade Lodge 229

This charming condo is the perfect getaway for your next small family ski-cation in Whistler. On the grounds of Cascade Lodge, enjoy shared access to a heated outdoor pool, hot tubs, saunas, a fitness room, and a ski valet in the lobby - all within walking distance of the heart of the Village. Whether you're visiting with the kids or sneaking off for a long romantic weekend, this condo gives you spectacular mountain views, a warming gas fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, and a dining table. Cascade Lodge is perfectly situated at the gateway to Whistler Village, with the free local shuttle bus stopping directly in front of the lodge and the ski lifts less than a half-mile walk away. Come summer, you can tee off at the Whistler Golf Club, hit the slopes of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park (both are a third of a mile south), or take in the spectacular scenery from the hiking trails that traverse Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Take your pick of restaurants and recreational outfitters in the Village, or stop by the Whistler Museum, the Audain Art Museum, or the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre within a one-mile walk.
The pool and hot tubs are outdoor facilities at the Cascade Lodge. For the safety of our guests, heavy snow, cold temperatures, and/or icy conditions will determine if the pool and hot tubs are available.

Excellent one bedroom

Spacious and clean, very nice unit in the nice lodge. It’s not a ski in/out but it’s in the Whistler village and close to all the restaurants and shops.

Quiet, clean and comfortable

This property was pleasant to stay at. Some of the furnishings were a bit dated and the housekeeping could have needed a bit more touching up prior to check in, but it was all minor stuff.

Perfect, quiet, clean.

Everything was clean, kept and lovely. Quiet little patio to enjoy. Great little fireplace. Comfy bed. Quiet corner of the building. Pool and hot tub were also very enjoyed!!

Nice

Bed was comfortable but would have appreciated a king rather than a queen.

Poor service. Kitchen cooking supplies were less than adequate for the price of the accommodations.

2nd floor views of the evergreen trees.

The air conditioner was loud. The noisy fan kicked in every time ac started. I had to turned AC off to help us in sleeping. People are nice and helpful.

Good value for the money

Loved the room, has a full kitchen, stacking washer/dryer. All original interior. I asked for a comforter for the pullout bed but the manager said this is not provided for pullouts, so slept with 3 thin blankets. Sauna didn't get that hot, could use a few updates and investments to improve the score.

Great location and nice room

The location of the Cascade Lodge was great. The room was nice. We had a one bedroom with a pull-out couch which was perfect for my family of 4. The small kitchen was perfect so we could load up on essentials from the nearby grocery store.

Suite was comfortable and spacious. The suite was a the end of the building so it was very quiet but was a bit of a walk. Not an issue unless you are loading or unloading. Use the trolleys provided!

Spacious, comfortable and quiet

The suite was well appointed and stocked. It's at the end of the building so there's a bit of a walk but that also means it's quiet. We did not mind the walk and it really only is an issue when loading/unloading the baggage. There is a separate bedroom so privacy is available for a family or group. Would recommend.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cascade Lodge. For the price, the 1 bedroom suite worked well for our family of 4. The rooms are a bit outdated, but think the timeshare side had some renovations in the last 5 years. 4 stars because the toilet ran the whole time we were there, and the heater was loud and would wake you up in the middle of the night when it turned on. Other than that, great pool, nice staff, good location.
