Disliked: Amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
so disappointing - we left early -
room was so hot, no AC, electric fan did not work well.
Hood fan only made noise, did not work
Bathtub/shower drain didnt drain...left me in a huge amount of water during a shower.
front staff were friendly, not helpful when I asked about another fan.
DVD player in room but nowhere can you rent a DVD, no movie streaming channels. basically a boring hot room!!
this unit needs a major reno & upgrade.
would NOT recommend in spring summer months.

Great location
We enjoyed our time in Whistler. Staff at Glacier Lodge were helpful and general facilities were excellent. Sofa bed would have been hard for one person to set out, but was quite comfortable.

Functional, not comfortable
The lodge, location, and hot tub were great. The room, however, was just good enough to get by. The sleeper bed is painful (and I’m young and adaptable). The rest of the room was functional, but dated.

Terrible
There’s no bed and the couch bed is incredibly uncomfortable. With 2 people, you sink to the middle and hear every movement in the springs throughout the night. Highly recommend bringing your own towels and bedding… well I just don’t recommend at all. But if you do, bring your water filter/buy bottles because the tap water is terrible. The towels were ripped and stained and there were cracks/holes in the shower. There was no duvet, just a fleece blanket and one of those hotel decorative top blankets that you never want to use. It smelled bad from the moment we walked in…not of anything particular, just bad. Overall ruined our weekend.

We were grateful for a somewhat affordable place to stay, so we were willing to adjust our expectations and accept sleeping on a hide-a-bed, and poor sound proofing between rooms. However the bathtub/shower does not drain adequately and seems in need of repair. We were issued a ticket for parking even though we paid properly. Thankfully the Glacier Lodge staff helpfully resolved that issue for us- but we decided it wasn't worth dealing with that again and chose to park offsite which was less convenient.
