House was very nice, recently updated with new appliances, everything was clean , beautiful, close to everything we needed, would definitely stay here again!
If you want a quiet and centrally located location to explore what Bardstown has to offer. This is the place! The house is exactly as advertised in comfort and rustic charm. When you enter, it’s obvious no expense was spared in renovation. Tanner is a very gracious host and highly recommend this place!

We had a great stay! The home was immaculate and well appointed. We were exploring the bourbon trail on this visit and this home is a great location to do this. Our host was very responsive to any questions we had—within minutes of posting our question. When we return, we will definitely be staying again. While we were here, we recommended this home to someone we know who is planning a trip to the area. Thank you!
This was one of outlet best stays ever! The property was brand new inside, immaculate, and beautifully decorated. The hospitality exceeded my expectations! The outdoor space and hot tub was great for relaxing after a long day. If you have an opportunity to stay here do not pass it up!

We are so happy that you guys chose Jeanie's for your stay!! Anytime you are in the area please don't hesitate to stop back by!! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed it!!
Enjoyed the house very much. The kitchen was roomy enough for the group that I was with everything was clean and labeled, which was a help when you were looking for things. Did not use the hot tub at all so cannot comment on that, but the deck Was clean without splinters or raised nails and easy to traverse around and get back in the kitchen. the beds were super comfortable, and the heating and air conditioning was more than adequate. The house cooled off quickly we had rain and there were no leaks. No giraffes on the overall state was Tremendous.
Everything was clean and well thought out. We appreciated the extra towels and washer and dryer. Eight of us stayed for about a week and we had enough space to be together and to be apart. The back yard is big and fenced in, with plenty of room for the kids to run around. The kids loved the hot tub too! The kitchen had all the tools we needed. We really liked having such a nice spot so close to Bernheim forest! The host communicated well and in a very timely manner.

nicely remodeled home with everything you need. host communicated well and quickly. price was reasonable and fair for the stay. great location if you are doing the bourbon trail. we were just there for the night but an extended stay would have made it very convenient to tour multiple locations from there. only thing I would change would be the smells from the potpourri. very overpowering to my nose but it could just be me. would recommend highly if you are in the area staying.

Tanner Culver was born and raised in Bardstown, Kentucky and is a Kentucky realtor. I have a heart for all things Bourbon Trail and take pride in my Kentucky Roots. I was a restaurant owner for 10 years before selling out and take great pride in giving guests a hospital experience. I take great pride in quick, efficient communication as well.
Why they chose this property
I chose this area for a short term rental because the house was originally built in 1900. It was one of the first houses in the area and has amazing history. However when I bought it, the state that it was in was one of dilapidation. We took the house down to the studs and reframed the floor system, the roofing system, repoured the foundation, rewired the house, and did everything brand new inside the shell of the original structure. What we have now is a like-new house that maintained its 1900 roots! It is special.
