The two-bedroom holiday rental (approx. 50 m²) is located on the upper floor of the beautiful thatched-roof house. In the garden, you’ll find a seating area for 4 with a table and umbrella, which belongs to this holiday rental.

There you’ll find:

- a new and modern built-in kitchen with high-quality appliances that invites you to cook;
- a cosy dining area for 3 people.
- a cosy living room area with new seating for up to 3 people (a sleeper sofa and an armchair) and a satellite TV;
- a very large bedroom with a double bed and new mattresses from 2016, a reading nook or desk, and a second satellite TV;
- a bathroom with natural light.



Located between the open Baltic Sea and the Geltinger Birk Nature Reserve, four holiday apartments are available in a beautiful thatched-roof house.
The Georg Asmussen House is the old school in Pommerby (1798) and the birthplace of the poet, engineer, and social reformer Georg Asmussen (1856–1933). It was used as a school until 1966. Starting in the 1970s, this house was already being used as a holiday home.
We purchased this house in 2015 and have brought it up to modern standards while preserving the charm of this historic thatched-roof house. Even inside the house, thanks to the thatched roof, you can still breathe in the fresh, invigorating Baltic Sea air. Our guests will feel right at home here and take pleasant memories back with them.
The holiday apartments were completely renovated and remodeled from the ground up between 2015 and 2016. Each holiday apartment is individually and comfortably furnished and features two satellite TVs (one in the living room and one in a bedroom). The built-in kitchens, installed in 2015, are equipped with high-quality appliances.
Please note: the holiday apartments are not suitable for children under 4 years of age.

In the beautiful garden, each holiday apartment has a separate seating area with patio furniture, a grill, and a parasol. Guests can sit surrounded by flowering plants and fruit trees.

In addition to a magnificent view from the upper floor of the stairwell over meadows and fields, there is a cleaning closet and a room for a washing machine and dryer, which every guest can use free of charge.

In the basement of the stairwell, there are two shelves with a selection of books, games, DVDs, and Blu-rays (including 3D). Let yourself be surprised.
