The bedroom is equipped with a Queen sized tempur-pedic mattress and combed cotton high thread count sheets with fluffy shams, duvet and pillows. A warm spacious and cozy retreat.
Excellent furnishings in this one bedroom private entrance suite.
A bright 750 sq. ft suite with 4 large windows with screens.
All rooms have thermostats and electric baseboard heating. The suite has a fully equipped kitchen. There is a full-sized washer and dryer laundry room in the suite; a large dining area; a livingroom area equipped with big screen TV and Rogers cable; a workstation area with free WiFi.
SKIERS take NOTE: Only 10 minutes to the nearest Coastal Mountain skiing at Grouse Mountain; 15 minutes to Cypress Bowl ski mountain; 30 minutes to Mount Seymour ski lifts. Only 1 Hour and 30 minutes to Whistler / Blackcomb Ski mountains.
Sightseeing: only 12 minutes to Vancouver City Centre by car, 30 minutes by bus and Seabus to Vancouver city centre. Locally you are only 5 minutes to shopping at Park Royal Mall.and Lower Lonsdale and The Quay

Perfect north Vancouver location

This property was perfect for my wife and I’s weekend getaway to north Vancouver. Howie was extremely friendly and ensured every need was met. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again next time we return.

We were very impressed with how clean and well maintained the suite was. Stephanie, was the host because her husband, Howie, was out of town. She was friendly and helpful recommending restaurants. Although we didn’t cook, the kitchen was fully equipped. We enjoyed our stay in Vancouver and other areas of British Columbia.

Great location

Right off the highway, Howie’s home is easily accessible but still quiet and cozy. The suite is down a staircase to a private entrance to the basement of the home. Howie was a very communicative host and we felt very comfortable there. If you have a car, this is a great place to stay - free parking, easy drive to the city and super easy drive to cypress for skiing!

Great location in beautiful North Shore

We stayed 2 weeks in this spacious and tastefully decorated basement home. The host was very helpful, we enjoyed his hospitality and the well functioning accommodation and can highly recommend this place.

Great property and location

Our host Howie was super gracious and caring. His property is at a location perfect for our plans. The property has much more amenities than a more expensive hotel room. It is in a quiet neighborhood and is very convenient for getting around and has great restaurants nearby. We will definitely stay there again for our next visit to Vancouver.

This place did not disappoint

Howie provides an exceptional place to stay. It was the cleanest VRBO that we have stayed. It had everything we needed to make our own meals. Located close to many opportunities to escape into nature but also a very short drive to shops, restaurants, and businesses. We would absolutely choose to stay here again.

Perfectly central for our Cidery Tours!

Our getaway accommodation was perfect. Kitchen was fully equipped like home, living area and bedrooms very comfortable, bathroom has all the necessities in case you forgot something! It was so lovely to stay in an accommodation that felt like home! Central for day trips to the Sunshine Coast, Bowen Island and Squamish. Howie is an excellent host! Spectacular Accommodations in N. Vancouver

We were very late checking in due to a major flight delay out of Atlanta and rescheduled to a later flight arriving after midnight. Howie was very accommodating and kind to provide access to our VRBO so late. Inside we were thrilled to see the amazing home available to us during our 2-day stay. The kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and living space was beautifully appointed and we really appreciate our very own washer and dryer use at our disposal. Howie kindly offered us a ride but we had already ordered a Lyft. He couldn’t have been any more accommodating which was greatly appreciated and the space was immaculate!

Between Christmas & New Years

Location has great walking or public transport access to most amenities and many attractions. The suite was very clean, quiet and is represented accurately by the photos on VRBO. A tree was set up during the holiday season to enjoy, a very generous holiday gesture! We highly recommend this VRBO.

I stayed at this fabulous apartment from a Wednesday to Saturday. Howie was nothing but amazing! He communicates well and wants everything to be perfect for his guest! He is very helpful when it comes to transportation and providing the best information possible. He made it so easy and accommodating for us. Perfect place to recharge and relax!

Staying a Howie's place was a pleasure he's a superb host and I'm sad I didn't get to spend more time chatting with him! We definitely be coming back again! The basement apartment is beautifully decorated with original artworks and has a plethora of useful and thoughtful amenities. You can really tell Howie cares for his guests in a proactive and caring way. One exceptional example of this was the small library of books which was greatly appreciated. The apartment is really close to the main road which I thought might be an issue but you cannot hear it at all and proved to be really convenient for travelling around all of Vancouver. It's a super easy drive to downtown but feels much safer and relaxed. It's also only a few dollar's taxi ride to the seabus to downtown so if you're visiting Van and want to see the sights this is a really great option. Overall excellent experiences highly recommend!

Our stay was super comfortable, very clean, lovely linens, comfy furniture, well equipped kitchen, and luxurious bathroom. The location is excellent. Howie, our host gave us a thorough tour when we arrived. The area is quiet and within walking distance from a large, old forest park. We really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it!

Clean suite in basement of family home. Separate entrance, well-equipped space including a full kitchen and washer/dryer. We could hear occasional footsteps above, but nothing bothersome. Really nice to meet Howie and hear some of his stories, hope to be back here!
