Believe me, you will sleep like a baby and wake up refreshed to start the day by exploring what Vancouver has to offer. Freshly renovated bedroom!
Our 480 square feet Garden level space has a coffeemaker, microwave, and fridge plus a small cooking area, 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, and a living room with a queen size sleeper sofa, TV, and WIFI.

Enjoy the quiet ambiance of one of Vancouver's loveliest and safest neighborhoods. Take advantage of the proximity to downtown, UBC, golf courses, fine restaurants, grocery stores, shops, and the long stretch of beaches.
Shopping and bus stops in walking distance (2 Blocks away - Dunbar St. and McKenzie St.).
Just steps away is the beautiful Balaclava Park with playgrounds, baseball, and soccer fields - just down the back lane.

Situated minutes away you find the Pacific Spirit Park, a West Coast rainforest next to the city for walking or biking. You might also find your way down to Jericho Beach 10 minutes by car or walk along the seawall in Stanley Park to take in Vancouver's breathtaking views.

We speak German and English and are more than happy to be your hosts! Always up for a chat but at the same time we respect your privacy.

Kitchen worked well, had everything we needed for meals. There are a number of shopping districts nearby and it is close to UBC. Sascha and Robert, our hosts were available when we needed them and very pleasant and interesting to talk to. They have a lovely garden complete with friendly cat. The neighborhood is quiet and very walkable to some great hiking trails.

Great little apartment with private entrance and cute garden area. Beautiful neighborhood with lots of options within walking distance. The welcome champagne and chocolate was nice. Only thing that could've made it better would be a fan or colder a/c.

A cosy little home away from home

This place had everything we needed for a little weekend getaway. Bed was comfy, Garden was beautiful and the location was superb. Lots of parking & the owner was very nice. Would def stay here again! We were just a couple and it was comfortable but for 4 people I think it might be a bit tight ( only one bathroom).

Relaxed stay in Vancouver

Our stay was great. The option to use the garden made the stay very relaxing for us. In the kitchen were food and drinks, including prosecco and coffee! At this place vacation starts from the first moment. The host was very friendly and warm and gave us a lift to the beach. Thank you!

Great little place in a great location

The VRBO was super clean and nicely appointed. I would recommend for singles/couples who want to sleep in the bedroom… the pullout couch is not a super comfortable place to sleep. But the unit is lovely and up to date. The actual bed is wonderful. The garden is very nice and I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to stay close to the city

Dunbar area cozy retreat

We had all the conveniences necessary for a short stay. The accommodations are "cozy" and very quiet. One criticism would be the small bathroom mirror and lavatory set-up which is doable but not optimal. The owner appears to have taken great effort to provide for every need. It was an enjoyable stay.

PRO: location, quiet, very clean, hostess was great, well stocked, nice layout, good coffee, strong wifi, the couch in the living room is actually pretty much the size of a twin bed and quite comfortable CON: couldn't adjust thermostat, wifi only for TV (couldn't actually watch a TV station), no proper blanket for living room bed The listing photos do not do this place justice. I'm going to try to add some. Would definitely stay here again next time I travel to Vancouver

Great Location

A great location with lots of options for walking around in a well established neighborhood. Host was great. It was close to UBC and the gardens and downtown. This is the basement of a beautiful old house. Lots of daylight coming in and a good breeze. Because it’s older you can hear the owners upstairs. If you need to sleep in it may be good to let the owners know. Kitchenette had everything you would need and the bedding in the bedroom was really nice.

We love Vancouver! One of the most 'versatile' cities in the world. The area where we live is on a hill and you have a view of the mountains. You never really have the feeling you live right in the city.
Being so close to the mountains, the forest, the beaches and downtown is truly unique!

What makes this property unique

Our house has a lush garden for you to enjoy, the view of the mountains and a big park just 1 minute away. Our suite is cozy and clean and has an artsy and European feel to it.
