About this property

Family and pet welcoming home - Barkers Island is within walking distance!

This is a 3 bedroom home in Superior that is in a great location for many local events and features. The home contains plenty of activities and toys for children, as well as a fenced in yard with a playset. There is plenty for young children to do to stay occupied during your stay! Pets are more than welcome also, and will enjoy frolicking in the back yard.

There is patio furniture on the back porch where you can enjoy some morning coffee or evening beverages. The house usually keeps the back yard from being directly exposed to the breeze off of Lake Superior. If it’s a toasty day here in Superior you can cool off in the front yard, or turn on the newly installed mini-split!

It is located one half mile from Barkers Island which offers a playground, mini golf, a swimming beach, the farmers market on Saturdays, and many other opportunities for exploration.

In addition to the beds that are set up, there are several pack n plays and cots available for use if you have infants/toddlers. There are also some cushions in the living room that can be used for an additional twin bed. Any sheets needed for the additional beds will be provided.

Hello! I'm Casey, your host, and I'm delighted that you are considering staying at this location. My family and I live in Superior, not far away from this rental house. My husband is from this area, and I am from much farther away (Alaska). We have two children and two very large, fluffy dogs that love to bark. We love all of the things that this area has to offer - no matter what time of year. One of our favorite events is the Superior Ice Festival, and we always enjoy spending time on Barker's Island. We hope that you enjoy your time in Superior as well!

Why they chose this property

The Central Park neighborhood has been a friendly and welcoming area for us. The park itself is not far away from the house, the playground there was just renovated in 2025. We like how close we are to the business area of Superior, as well as how close it is to the lake.
