This spacious three bedroom, two bathroom house with full unfinished basement and attached garage has plenty of safe storage for your bicycles, Nordic skis, canoe's and kayaks! Basement is set up for waxing your Nordic skis and we have some bikes and Nordic skis available for renters.

Home, with much of it's original woodwork, is located less than a mile from Chester Bowl and Bagley which have both running, mountain biking, and Nordic ski trails.

The home is just blocks from being on the Duluth Traverse, less than a mile from Chester, Leif Erickson, and Bagley. We are centrally located so you can quickly get to Spirit Mountain, Superior Hiking Trail, and so, so, so much more!!!

Your hosts spend most of their free time on the numerous trails and bodies of water in the area and would love to share their knowledge with you to help you plan your excursions!

Our home is a safe, secure, licensed rental PL20-089 .

Check in is after 3pm and check out is 10 am unless we are vacant after you, then you are welcome to stay all day, just ask us...we are super flexible if it's empty before or after! We recently updated the decor in the entire home, replaced quite a bit of the furniture, and got a new stove!

Great for vacationing!
My friends and I stayed here for Spring Break. It was awesome! We had a great time and had lots of entertainment options. Eve and Wayne were super nice, Eve was in communication with me at all times and even offered to let us stay longer after there was a snowstorm!

Excellent stay in Duluth!
Our family very much enjoyed our stay at ”The Most Centrally Located Vacation Rental in Duluth”. Communication was definitely quick and very informative. We got there nearly at midnight, but with all of the instructions was not a problem to find, even in the dark. The house was cool when we got there (outside temps were low 20’s I think?), but warmed up so fast. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed, and some nice extras too. We appreciated the Keurig (coffee maker available too). My mother-in-law loved the hot chocolate! We were able to use the decks of cards. We brought some too, and played a crazy game where basically everyone plays solitaire at once. There were some fun books, great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. My teenage daughter liked the pink toilet and had something to talk about later with her friends. We got to see the largest waterfall in Wisconsin. Check it out- it’s in Superior and not far from the road. :) The location was super convenient, and not too far from our son’s apartment near campus. It was great to see where he lives and what’s around there too. Duluth is a beautiful city- thank you Eve and Wayne for our wonderful visit! I hope we can come back soon.

We are both avid Silent Sports Enthusiasts who enjoy this magnificent outdoor playground of Duluth on a daily basis. Eve is originally from Southern Wisconsin and a huge Badger and Packer fan. Wayne is from the Proctor area which is just outside of Duluth. We Mountain bike, road bike, paddle, run, row, Nordic ski and do anything else that is silently powered by us in the outdoors on a daily basis. Eve has written articles for Silent Sports Magazine for the past twelve years along with blogging on Northlandrunner. In addition, she has been the top ski trail reporter for Skinnyski for the past few years! Wayne has been working for Super One stores for thirty years and enjoys his job! Eve who was formerly a teacher and accountant, now coaches adults who are beginners and those who like to go slowly in running roads, trails, and Nordic skiing. Both Eve and Wayne officiate at the state Nordic and Cross Country meets and used to volunteer for all of Grandma's events for two decades. Eve also times a lot of silent sports events, takes photos at many of them, and puts a few on.

Why they chose this property

We lived here until recently when we moved ten miles away to be able to walk out the front door and into several parks, the Superior Hiking Trail, and have some land.

What makes this property unique

This property is centrally located and has safe indoor storage for all those Silent Sports toys along with a waxing area and bench for Nordic skis. UMD, St. Scholastica, Chester Bowl, Bagley and Lake Superior are all within a mile of this house! Our website details how close we are to so many other outdoor playgrounds!
