The host is very accommodating. The property is in a lovely spot on the lake and the house had all accoutrements needed for a good stay-also property was very clean with a lovely library.

We had an incredible few days and wish we had stayed longer! The property was clean and had plenty of space for our family. This was the most well stocked kitchen for a rental I’ve ever stayed in - anything we needed was right there, which is so helpful!

The house was excellent and had everything we needed and more! Lots of lake toys (floats and boats) and games inside. Loved the recommendation of boating to the store/cafe. We had a great stay!

This family-friendly retreat offers all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. However, we encountered a few minor issues. One room wasn’t ready when we arrived, as the bed wasn’t made up and the trash wasn’t emptied. Additionally, there was extra bedding left in the washer and dryer, and used soap bars that should have been discarded. Our host, Tim, was very responsive to these matters, but we took care of them ourselves.

This house was PERFECT! My family of four enjoyed an amazing summer stay for four days and it was so hard to leave. The house itself was wonderful with an amazing great room looking out over the lake. The house really felt like a home, and from its history you can tell it has been treasured and well taken care of. For a rental it had an incredibly well stocked kitchen, all the amenities including shampoo, towels, beach towels, sun screen, bug spray, blue tooth speaker, games, books, pool table! Then for outside there was a wonderful firepit with lots of dry wood, lawn games, water toys, and most importantly, two kayaks and a paddle board, life vests, etc. The outside area had so many seating options including a picnic table, desk area overlooking the dock and then wonderful chairs on the dock itself, and two hammocks that you could totally lose yourself in. Then there's the lake itself - what a gem. In mid-August the water was so warm, so clear and so quiet. We spent all of our days out there just enjoying the beauty of the space itself: coffee in the deck in the morning, swimming/kayaking mid-day, and then a cocktail on the deck in the evening, followed by a great fire in the fire pit. We would go back in a heartbeat.

We had a great time staying here. House was ready, had everything we needed including lots of sunscreen, bug spray, plenty of towels. It has an old timey feel with a lot of wood paneling that made it feel cozy and quaint. The views from inside were stunning. There is a loon theme throughout the house and a loon nest across the cove that we enjoyed.There were lots of indoor and outdoor activities- we kayaked, paddle boarded, fished, put a puzzle together, played pool, played board games, swam in the lake, had bonfires and smores and watched the sky for shooting stars. We went to a nearby hike that was very kid friendly and had great views. The kitchen was well stocked but we also picked up food from Day's store and sunset grill which are less than 10 minutes away.. The rooms have a ton of storage space so bags can be put away and it feels like you're settled in the house. My favorite part was that one of the rooms has a skylight over the bed and you can watch the sky for shooting stars as you fall asleep.
