The Barn sits on 80 peaceful acres 10 miles south of Seguin. You will see beautiful cattle grazing the pastures and deer roaming about. We live on the property in a separate home. The floor level has a queen bed, sofa, recliner and chair, 2 person dining area, kitchen area with microwave, convection oven, air fryer combo, induction hot plate. The loft upstairs is open to the floor level. It has 1 full (double) bed.

The kitchen has an all in one microwave/convection oven/airfyer and an induction hot plate. Full size refrigerator.
Plenty of parking space for vehicles, trailers or equipment.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A very clean, quiet, peaceful place to stay while in Seguin. It sits out south of town, but easy to get to anything that you may need. The hosts have outdone themselves by making this a home away from home as well as being the nicest and friendliest people you will ever meet.

The Barn in Seguin is one of those places that leaves an imprint. Intentional hospitality was felt in every aspect of our stay. From the moment we drove onto the property, we experienced a welcoming peace that felt more like a retreat than a working ranch— hosts DeeDee and Melvin have created something truly special! The Barn itself is incredible! We walked into a giant open studio with soaring ceilings and an additional bedroom in the open loft upstairs. Everything one may need has been thought of. The kitchen has tons of equipment, a full size fridge, and a coffee station. Bathroom is spacious, stocked with incidentals & home to the world’s greatest shower! The bed is comfortable, and the A/C kept everything as cool as we wanted. Delightful!The Barn is exceptionally CLEAN & well tended.I found my way to the pool for a quick dip. The pool house has plenty of towels and the pool itself was the perfect temp and so refreshing after a long day of travel. Our Host Melvin came down to meet us. He was SO kind and friendly, and made us feel completely comfortable & welcome— like family. We enjoyed late nights outside on the large patio with a 360 view of the sky; stars seemed close enough to touch. We were befriended by an outdoor cat we only saw at night. Communication throughout our stay was A Our only regret is not having more time to spend with our hosts—something we look forward to as we will definitely be returning! A huge THANK YOU, DeeDee & Melvin!

We had such a wonderful stay! The barn was absolutely adorable, and the entire property was beautiful, peaceful, and very well kept. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always quick to respond if we needed anything. Even though it was a short visit, we truly enjoyed our time here and wished we could have stayed longer. We would definitely recommend this Vrbo and can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I have spent the last 45 plus years in SeguinI. I am a Registered Dental Assistant and Office Manager at Tier One Dental in Seguin. I enjoy gardening, cooking, fishing, hunting and helping my husband on our little piece of heaven.
Hosting has given us the pleasure of sharing our property and meeting some of the best people, We do live on the property and are usually around to meet our guests.

Why they chose this property

We both love living the rural lifestyle. Being able to raise cattle, watch the deer, turkey, birds and all things nature are food for the soul. After a busy day at work nothing beats the peace and traquillity of coming home.

What makes this property unique

Being just 10 miles south of Seguin, we are conveiniently located to bigger cities and attractions. San Antonio, Austin, New Braunfels, Gruene.
