This place was great. Clean, two blocks from the beach. Not crowded at all. Friendly staff. Will definitely go again. Already looking for a room for next month.

The place was nice for the price. Most places were twice the price for the same amenities. The shower took us a minute to figure out but otherwise the pressure was good. Only stayed one night.

What a wonderful time I had staying at the Mermaid Rest Motel. Booking was very easy and straight forward. I was not expecting such a nice room. Very large and extremely clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook a meal. There was plenty of lighting and best of all everything worked. I loved the mini-split Heat Pump. Nice and quiet unlike those thru the wall PTAC's. Definitely a 5-star A experience!

The place needs a deep clean . I know I visited at the end of the season but the place didn’t appear to be well maintained between guests. There were marks all over the walls, rust and dirt on the fixtures and a misty smell from the a/c.
