The Space:

Welcome to your private Carriage House retreat in the heart of Clarendon. This charming, light-filled home offers the perfect balance of comfort, style, and convenience. With two cozy bedrooms (Queen + Double), a full kitchen, elegant living area, indoor workspace, and an inviting outdoor patio, this space is ideal for couples, small families, business travelers, and extended stays.



Inside, enjoy thoughtfully designed interiors with large windows, natural light, and a warm modern aesthetic. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking at home, and the living room provides a relaxing space to unwind after a day exploring Arlington and Washington, D.C.



The home is set on a quiet residential lot yet surrounded by all the essentials: cafés, restaurants, grocery stores, parks, and the Clarendon Metro Station, offering everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay.



Guest Access:

Guests will have fully private access to the entire private 2-bedroom, 1.5 bath guest / carriage house - the Main home here at the same address however, is a separate and private home all on its own-- and is NOT part of this rental space. Guests will have access to the free street parking *ONLY*. Driveway parking is reserved for our main house tenants.



The Neighborhood:

Clarendon is one of Arlington’s most charming and walkable neighborhoods — known for its tree-lined streets, welcoming community vibe, and the perfect balance between quiet residential living and lively urban energy. The area is filled with local cafés, boutique shops, restaurants, fitness studios, and neighborhood favorites like Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods.



Parks such as Zitkala-Sa Park (just 2 blocks away), and Lyon Park (4 blocks away). add to the charm with green spaces, playgrounds, and recreational areas. Clarendon’s mix of historic character, friendly sidewalks, and modern conveniences makes it one of the most sought-after areas in Northern Virginia.



Just a short walk from the home, the Clarendon METRO Station (Orange/Silver lines) connects you easily to Washington, D.C., including downtown, the National Mall, Smithsonian museums, and popular neighborhoods across the region. Bus routes, bike-share stations, scooters, and rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft are widely used, making it simple to explore.



For those who prefer to drive, there is free street parking (Street passes (and instructions) are in the Carriage House "Guest Resources" binder) and quick access to major roads such as I-66, Route 50, and the GW Parkway.

Moving around is easy from this location. Clarendon METRO-rail Station (ORANGE/SILVER Line) is close by, only a 7-minute walk, providing quick access to Washington, D.C., the National Mall, museums, and surrounding neighborhoods. Guests can also easily reach major roads such as I-66, Route 50, and the GW Parkway.



The home includes free street parking *ONLY* (Street passes (and instructions) are in the Carriage House "Guest Resources" binder). Rideshares and walking are convenient and common ways to get around. The driveway parking is strictly reserved for our main house tenants- please do not park in the driveway.



Other Things to Note:

Within the neighborhood, there is everything guests could need within walking distance--groceries, restaurants, parks, and shopping! **Please note that the yard is a shared space with the private/separate Main home at our property address.
