Situated right on the beach, you only have to walk down the steps to put your toes in the sand at the water's edge. There are beach rentals available all over the island including bicycles, paddleboards, jet skis, and more. This rental is just minutes from popular seafood restaurants, shops, mini-golf courses, historic Ft. Gaines, a local estuarium the kids are sure to enjoy, and an amazing bird sanctuary. Alternatively, you can hop on the ferry across the bay to visit Ft. Morgan and Gulf Shores for an exciting day out.

Multi-Generational Spring Break Trip!

5 O’Clock Somewhere was perfect for our family vacation! King beds in each room (except for the bunk room) was so so wonderful. Access to the beach was fabulous. The view from the deck makes it seems as if you are ON the water!

The ocean is so close to the home, that you can hear it when you are in bed. Wonderful location with good parking and great views. There were a few cosmetic or minor items in need of repair, but we would stay here again!

Cattleman’s convention in mobile

We absolutely loved our stay at 5’O clock somewhere, it was perfect the island, the privacy, the food, etc. we stayed here while in town for a convention in mobile and it was perfect for us, the drive to & from was 45 minutes but was an easy ride that seemed more like 30. We will definitely be staying here again when we aren’t in town for anything and can spend our whole trip there at the house & on the island.

This was an amazing property, and accommodated our family get together quite well. We had plenty of room for 7 adults. The TV was amazing, as one of our top priorities was to watch the SEC Championship game. GEAUX TIGERS! We will definitely look to this property again, if staying in the area.

Get away to Dauphin Island

Great. Great, Great!!! So many places have a Mandatory 7 day stay, but we were able to reserve this amazing home for 5 days which is what our schedule allowed. Also, coming in on a Wednesday and leaving Monday was perfect.

Beautiful house!!

This is our first time staying on Dauphin Island. We will definitely be back to stay at this house. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds were super comfortable. The view from the back deck was breathtaking. We watched the sunrise every morning and sun set every afternoon. We loved that we could walk down the stairs and be a couple of steps from the ocean. This house is by far the best place we have ever stayed at.
