Our farm is nestled in a quiet setting among meadows and forests, just two kilometres from Lake Tachinger. Our large garden with a sunbathing area offers a magnificent view of the Chiemgau and Salzburg mountains. Our rustic summer cottage is the perfect spot for cosy get-togethers.
A playhouse with a swing, slide, and sandpit, a trampoline, a ping-pong table, a football field, and various pedal-powered vehicles are sure to delight children.
Thanks to our quiet location, we’re a wonderful starting point for long hikes and bike rides (bike storage available).
Not far from our holiday farm are several beautiful beaches that invite you to swim, go pedal boating, or simply relax.
Popular destinations such as the nearby mountains, the city of Salzburg, and Lake Chiemsee are just a short drive away.

Our cosy “Abendsonne” holiday apartment is furnished in a country-style. The spacious attic apartment features two bedrooms (double bedrooms, one of which has an additional sofa bed), a kitchen with a dishwasher, an entryway, and a balcony. Each bedroom is equipped with its own bathroom and a smart TV. Free Wi-Fi and a parking space right outside the front door are, of course, included.
The town of Taching am See, with its population of just over 2,000, is part of the beautiful Chiemgau region.
Lake Taching glistens peacefully in the sun, framed by lush meadows and small woods that invite you to linger. On clear days, the view stretches into the distance to the majestic Alps, whose snow-capped peaks look like a painted panorama.
The town itself exudes a soothing sense of calm—far from the hustle and bustle, yet full of life. It is precisely this location that makes Taching am See an ideal starting point for a wide variety of excursions: whether it’s a dip in nearby Lake Chiemsee, a stroll through the historic old town of Salzburg, or a hike in the Berchtesgaden Alps—everything is within easy reach.

Now in our third generation, we—Sepp and Kathrin, along with our children Hannes, Maxi, and Vroni, and our parents Rosa and Anderl—offer our guests a relaxing break from everyday life.
