Wonderful beach home!

We stayed at The Beach House for our week long family vacation. My husband and I traveled with our 2 1/2 year old daughter. The host responded to messages quickly and she was extremely helpful with answering all of my questions. Lovely little home and just a short walk to the beach. Would love to stay again!!

Great location - small but adequate house

The location was great though you have to do about a block east or west to get to a beach access. Short drive to center of OIB. The house is as described online the only negative is that it is much older than even the pictures may do justice. Everything was functional; check-in was a breeze; and would stay again.

A Couple's Getaway

This accommodation was exactly what me and my spouse needed for a little getaway. It was perfect for just the two of us, but would also be a perfect place for a two couples or friend's group of four that just wants to beach it. We will absolutely be in touch for future vacations!

Ours was a quick trip. Very comfortable furnishings and close to beach. W/D nice to have. Only downside was not enough plates/utensils. Definitely rent again tho.

We made many memories and our newborn little girl really enjoyed us rocking her on the deck.

The communication was so easy with the owner. The house was so cute and perfect for our family. The view was nice and it wasn’t much of a walk to the ocean access. We had a great stay!

Perfect location- cute house

We enjoyed our stay! The house has everything you could possibly need. Beach accessories/all the cooking necessities/outdoor shower/water hose for washing boat. Would definitely recommend to others.

Paul and Edwina relocated from Massachusetts to Ocean Isle Beach in 2006. Leaving behind harsh winters, the Beach was a welcomed change after many years in the cold. For the first few years in Ocean Isle Beach we enjoyed the beautiful beaches, warm weather and amazing sunrises and sunsets. As a local Realtor, Edwina took the advice she provides to many clients and purchased an investment property on the Island - what is now known as "The Beach House" in 2013. We look forward to sharing our home with you and your family.

Why they chose this property

After enjoying Ocean Isle Beach for years and spending a year searching for the perfect properly, we came upon 143 East First Street. We wanted to be able to share Ocean Isle Beach with other families and offer a affordable solution for vacations other than a hotel or condo. When we first walked in we knew it was what we would soon call our second home - from the beautiful tongue and groove walls and ceiling to the adorable front porch - this was just like your Grandma's home growing up. With a little TLC, "The Beach House" as it is know lovingly known is the perfect spot to call home while on vacation. Not too big and not too small it's a great place to create memories
