Find a true desert retreat at this beautiful Palm Springs home, ideally located only a mile from downtown. This property provides you with your own garden oasis - one with a private pool and spa, a personal putting green, and lovely patios in both sun and shade.

This single-story home boasts a wonderful location whether you're planning to shop, golf, hike, or simply bask in your desert surroundings. The main hub of Palm Canyon Drive - home to restaurants, nightlife, mid-century antique stores, and the Palm Springs Art Museum - is one mile west, as is scenic Tahquitz Canyon. World-class golf courses, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway (eight miles), and the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens (13 miles) are all within an easy drive.

The private backyard is truly something special, with a pool, a spillover spa, and trickling fountains offering a respite from the afternoon sun. Light the gas grill for an evening barbecue, dine in the welcome shade of the arbor, and linger outside for sunset in the warmth of the firepit on the patio.

The house is a natural place for mingling, with large rooms, ample seating, and lovely natural light. There's both a formal living room up front and more casual family room attached to the well-equipped kitchen and dining area - both with their own cable TV.

In the evenings, choose between three bedrooms (all with TVs), one of which is a primary suite. Additional features of the house include central air conditioning, a private washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi.

Would not stay in the property again. Was OK, but an OVER abundance of knick-knacks and plastic flowers were VERY dusty; gave the place a certain thrift store odor. Also, place could use some new cookware as pans were old n scratched. At 6AM people came to remove trash cans from the yard n put them on the street - so noisy I thought they were in the bedroom. Beds were soft, but maybe some people like it? Was a nice location in relation to DTPS. Nice walking biking path one street behind property.

Great property for family gathering

The property was exactly as shown in the listing. I appreciated the more than a vacation home feel - it felt like a regular home with good cookware and dishes. The hot tub and pool were good and heated up quickly based on the instruction book provided. (Contrary to the property company saying I had to give 72 hour notice for heat so I could not have a heated pool for our 4 day stay in February as I called 24 hours before). Super central and easy to bike to downtown and I would recommend stayingthere)
