Pool will be open April 11th, 2026 to October 10, 2026. Hot Tub is open year round!

This Old Nags Head style home is located in the heart of the Outer Banks, close to great local restaurants, shopping, and family attractions.

OBX Beach Paradise has easy beach access (just 3 houses from ocean!), a private swimming pool, hot tub, and a large fenced in yard with an affordable price tag!

This comfy cottage is the perfect beach getaway and has everything you need for a great family vacation. You and your family will enjoy an easy walk to the beach with access through the private neighborhood path (less than 2 minute walk). OBX Beach Paradise is situated on a quiet street and features a private 10x20 pool, hot tub, and recreation area for fun in the evenings with foosball table.

Our spacious floor plan includes two living rooms and a bright sunny kitchen with plenty of seating for the entire family.

Relax with your morning cup of coffee in the screened porch or sun deck. Spend your days sunbathing by the private pool or splashing around with the kids at the beach. Soak your stress away under the stars in the bubbling hot tub. Enjoy cooking your meals out on our charcoal grill by the pool or preparing them in the well stocked kitchen. If you don't feel like cooking, you're just a few minutes away from the best restaurants the OBX has to offer!

Second master bedroom with Queen, Pyramid Bunk, full bathroom and Smart TV. Third bedroom with Pyramid Bunk, Twin Bunks, and Smart TV, full hall bathroom. Second living room with Smart TV. Kitchen and dining area, Sun deck over the pool area. Ceiling fans in every room.

Linens: Comforters, pillows, bath mats, and kitchen towels are provided. You provide your own linens (sheets, pillowcases, shower and beach towels) or they can be rented through a local company. Recommendations can be provided.

During Summer Season Turnover Day: Saturday
Off season turnover can be arranged for any day.

The location and overall property was excellent. And the pool really made our stay that much better! We wish the home was cleaned more thoroughly (dirty bath mats, dog hair and dirt from previous guests all over the house) and the basement had a musty odor otherwise we enjoyed our stay!!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We do not advertise the basement because it is not temperature controlled. There should be no pet hair anywhere. If this guest or any guest wants something specific in regards to cleaning we will gladly provide this service free of charge. We only know if we are contacted. We have a company that not only cleans but provides a specialized COVID cleaning. This is our number one priority and have since addressed this with our cleaning company. We are glad you had a fantastic time!

Great location

This property is in a wonderful location. Easy access to the beach! The main floor is great, very clean, and the pool area is a must have for our family. The game room was not usable due to the musty smell which triggered several family members asthma. Overall it was a great place to stay for our first trip to OBX.

Cute House Close to the beach and shops

OBX beach paradise was a cute little place to stay. When we arrived, the house was immaculate and exactly as seen in the pictures. The beach was a short walk away and shops and restaurants are near by. This house has a private pool and hot tub and is pet friendly - what could be better? Kitty Hawk also allows leashed dogs on the beach. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet as well. Elizabeth was an absolute pleasure to work with an very responsive to my questions prior to the trip. I would definitely stay here again if/when I return to Kitty Hawk!

The house was great and super close to the beach! The house is super roomy and well stocked. Our doggies loved it too, especially the cozy front porch in the AMs after their walk. The pool is a good size but still too cold since its not heated (it did state that in amenities so we knew) and fenced in yard was ideal for our fur babies. We would go back! I would stay here again

The owners are so detailed, wonderful instructions for using the property, even little note tags on all the light switches. The home is an older outbanks beach home, but the owners have updated the property so it feels new. OBX properties fight with humidity so it occasionally smelled musty but nothing like we have dealt with in other homes of the same age. The location is perfect for the beach and local restaurants. We traveled with our elderly father and he was quite able to walk to the beach with no problems, it's just a quick walk. Twice weekly pool cleaning made our pool experience perfect. The house is clean, new appliances, fully stocked (gadgets and cookware) large kitchen. This place would be a perfect location for a family Thanksgiving getaway. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location and a great property.

My family rented this house for a week in August and really enjoyed it. The house is an easy walk to the beach as well as two good restaurants, Hurricane Moes and The Black Pelican. There is a grocery store, brew thru and more restaurants in easy driving distance. The house was roomy and we enjoyed both the pool and hot tub. Everything worked and the house was fully equipped. It really made our visit to the outerbanks enjoyable. My only complaint has nothing to do with the property, it has to do with sharp little plants that seemed to be in everyone's lawns. They were tiny and hurt our dogs feet more than once. So, be careful where you walk and enjoy this location because it really was a beach paradise.

Thank you for your wonderful review. We are so glad you enjoyed your time at our Paradise by the Sea. Yes the sand spurs are all around the OBX and come with beach living. We have our yard treated for them yearly but they can blow into the lawn from nearby lawns that have not been treated and not everyone has their lawns treated. For walks we usually take our dog directly to the beach to via White Street to help avoid them. Kitty Hawk beaches are dog friendly so this makes it especially easy for us to get their exercise in.

Great location home

Great beach house, with ample room for our group of 7 adults. Pictures as described and what a location!! The hot tub and pool were great. The walk to the beach was very safe and close by, great neighborhood. I do wish that it was described on the vrbo details (not on the 12 page contract that was sent over after I submitted on vrbo) that there would no cleaning products, no paper products, no linens what so ever, hand soap, kitchen linens, or dishwasher detergent. The house could use some work, floor boards in bathroom would pop off, the tile by the stairs is broken and very sharp (be careful), and a splinter on a bedroom door was taped down with clear tape. It would be nice to have had a front porch light for when we came home late at night and enough pool chairs in the back for the amount of ppl staying at the house. Overall, great experience, but we paid a lot.

Best Find in OBX!

This was our first stay at The Outer Banks Beach Paradise House and we will definitely be back! We loved everything about this house! The location is perfect, the rooms are spacious and the house was decorated very nicely! Adorable decorations throughout. We took our parents, baby and dog with us on this trip and the house was accommodating for everyone in our group (even our pup). We especially appreciated the fact that the house had a nice bathing area for our baby, much more spacious than any other home we have rented in the Outer Banks. My parents really enjoyed laying by the pool, my husband and I spent most days taking the baby to the ocean. My parents loved the pool, as it was clean and beautiful.  We went out several times during our stay and enjoyed the close proximity to restaurants and activities, but when we decided to stay in and cook it was nice to have a fully stocked kitchen (my mother is quite the chef and likes to get a bit fancy with meals). The owner was great to work with and extremely responsive. I am already booking this house again next year! Can't say enough good things.

Great Property

Overall, a great property and close to the beach. We were a family of 3 and a dog and it was perfect for all of us, plenty of room. We loved the fenced yard for our dog, the pool, and the hottub. It was only a 2 minute walk to the beach. It's a beach rental so always some areas that need a little TLC, but nothing that would stop us from renting again. Great communication with the owners, very responsive.

Our family of 4 adults, 4 children ages 2 to 13 years, and dog thoroughly enjoyed our week at this vacation home! The walk to the beach access took about 3 minutes and the neighborhood was quiet with little traffic. The pool, hot tub, and back yard make this property special and we appreciated that the pool was serviced while we were there. The property owners were easy to communicate with and helpful. The only thing to be aware of and this is anywhere in OBX is not to walk barefoot and to watch furry friends due to cactus and burs. Obviously this is nothing the owners could change.. We would visit this property again!

Great Stay Over Memorial Day Weekend

Definitely recommend this beach house. 3 minute walk to beach. Very accommodating and the owners were very reachable and helpful with our stay. Pool/Hot Tub were nice and private back yard. Only issue (and it was minor) was that you need to rent all beach items. I get that though, the owners do not have to provide that stuff and/or I am sure they did at some point and it was destroyed or stolen. It just would have been nice. Overall, fantastic place and was in great condition.

Perfect last minute getaway

We decided to take a long weekend at OBX and booked this less than 2 weeks before leaving. The location was perfect - a VERY short walk to the beach and close to lots of good restaurants. The house was more than enough for the 3 of us (me, my husband and youngest son) and we are hoping that next year my youngest son's girlfriend and my oldest son and his girlfriend will be able to join us since it will be perfect for the 3 couples (3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms). The hosts were quick to reply when we had a few questions while on site. Will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I both grew up vacationing every year in the Outer Banks.

My family was the beach bum type. My mom has always been a lover of the beach so we spent every vacation on the beach as much as possible. From building sand castles, swimming, floating, boogie boarding, and having a nap on the beach...we knew how to relax! To this day my favorite thing to do is pack a picnic and eat lunch by the ocean. Seafood was always on the menu while at the beach so my dad would catch fish for us or go get us steamed crabs and shrimp!

My husbands family was more about the experience. They enjoyed visiting the aquarium, finding the best local restaurants, and playing putt putt. They knew how to find an adventure!

The two of us together are a pretty good mix of the two. We enjoy going and finding adventures but also love a good nap by the ocean.

Why they chose this property

Kitty Hawk is our ideal area. It is close to everything but still out of the hustle and bustle if you are looking to relax. The location is pretty much the best of both worlds here. We fell in love with how warm and inviting the home was and loved that it had a pool, hot tub, and large fenced in yard.
