Check In

The check in process was a nightmare. We had been in Greece with no communication via email and my phone could not get through to anyone but VRBO. We spent frantic hours of vacation time trying to get an address and code to enter because they wait until the day before to give you the info. NOT acceptable in our situation, Fortunately, my call to VRBO was answered and within a short time we were able to gain access to our apartment. I also felt the property manager was rude. I asked for a late check out on our departure date because the clothes dryer was not drying my clothes for packing. She replied by saying we needed to ask in advance. I had no way of knowing it would take 3 hours for the dryer to be effective.

Hello Patricia, We are sorry that you had problems checking in. We sent you all the important information about check-in to your e-mail address already 3 days before your arrival. There it is also mentioned that our guests have to check in online from 14:00 on the day of arrival to receive the access code for the apartment. For security reasons, we are unfortunately unable to provide the code before. In case of emergency, we are always available via our emergency phone number, which you will find in the booking confirmation and at the entrance of the house. Unfortunately, we could not offer you a late check-out because the apartment was occupied again. If we have information before the day of departure that our guests would like to check out later, we could have the possibility to react and change the room allocation. However, if we only receive the info on the day of departure (our office does not open until 09:00), then we cannot react or change anything as quickly. I hope you understand this. Schönes Appartement mit Abstrichen

Die Wohnung war in einem sehr guten Zustand. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Innerhalb von einer halben Stunde kann man sowohl Köln als auch Düsseldorf erreichen. Drei Dinge sind aus unserer Sicht optimierungsbedürftig: 1. Die Terrasse wurde seit längerer Zeit nicht gereinigt. 2. Die Kanalliste des TV war nicht sortiert, so dass man viele unbelegte Sender hatte und bei über 700 Kanälen sehr lange suchen musste. 3. Der gravierendste Punkt war das sehr harte Bett, wodurch meine Frau und ich mehrmals nachts wach wurden und mit Rückenschmerzen zu kämpfen hatten. Wer damit keine Probleme hat, kriegt ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis geboten.
