About Crystal Knysh
My parents own our lovely Kailua beach house. They purchased the property in approximately 1986 and my dad actually built the vacation rental beach house when I was a child.
Crystal Knysh purchased this Estate in 1986
What makes this Estate unique
The main house next door is a registered Historic Residence, built in 1928. It originally was the Mark A. Robinson family beach house, the family who has owned the island of Ni'ihau since 1864. When my dad built the guest house he mirrored the architecture and design of the main house. Staying on this property is truly enjoying a piece of history.

Great place near great beach!!
This was a fabulous place for a family getaway. We would rent it again in the future. We managed to be comfortable even during some hot days with the extra room fans there. The kitchen was well stocked. A true joy to eat on the lanai every morning and night with a view of the ocean.
The best beach in Oahu
Perfectly placed a very short walk from the best beach on Oahu in my opinion. A bit more air conditioning, particularly downstairs, would have been nice, but that was a small thing compared with the overall ambience. Kitchen area well stocked and everything worked.
Perfect beach location!
Easy transaction and a FANTASTIC location on the beach. We enjoyed every minute from sunrise to sunset on the beautiful Kailua beach. Easy 10 min (or less) drive to whole foods and other stores and restaurants.
The house is in a great location, it allowed easy and private access to the beach and beautiful views from the balcony.
The beach close to house is wonderful!
The house was very clean, beds comfortable and kitchen well accoutered, with plenty of towels in the bathrooms. The house is located in a great part of town and is very accessible to almost anything you need. The bedrooms were spacious. We were there in July, which was hot and humid. More air conditioning would have been nice, but considering we were out most of the day it wasn't really an issue. Early mornings and evenings the breeze from the ocean made it comfortable. There are now flies in Hawaii, unfortunately, so more screens would have helped keep them out of the house. They only showed up when we were cooking. The downstairs twin bed could use new sheets. We didn't use the grill because you have to provide your own propane. We opted not to do this as we would have only used the tank once or twice and decided it was not cost effective. Better to spend the money by dining out at one of the nice restaurants in town. I would definitely stay there again.
Amazing Kailua Bay
Lovely home. Used the kitchen a lot. Swam every day. Home is gracious and large but a little tired. Would rent again.
