The host allowed early check in and late check out, which we were very grateful for. However, he forgot about our late check out, so cleaners showed up while we were getting ready for a wedding and pressured us to leave. That felt stressful. The house itself is a cool old building. There's tons of potential. But the dining room and living room aren't functional for a house that sleeps 8. There's no dining table. And the living room has only a single loveseat and coffee table. The beds are uncomfortable. I hope all this is remedied over time, so that people can enjoy this unique old home.

The guest, along with four companions, spent one night (May 8 – May 9, 2026) at my home. I accommodated their requests for an early check-in and a late check-out, and did not charge any additional fees for doing so. However, the behavior of this family was inappropriate. Thanks to my housekeeping staff, there were ample towels available for use in both bathrooms. In addition to using the designated towels, they also sought out and used all the extra towels that had been stored in the wardrobe for the next guests. After using these towels carelessly and damaging them with bleach, the color of all five towels changed from gray to a reddish hue. As of May 15, I am still awaiting reimbursement from this family for the cost of replacing the towels.

This is a nice house, close to stores and restaurants. There are plenty of beds. Although the listing indicates the sofa as a pull out bed, it is actually a loveseat that does not convert to a bed. This home accommodates 8 people for SLEEPING. However, the living room only has a loveseat no other chairs. There were 7 of us and the only way for us to congregate was if most of the group sat on the floor. Not at all comfortable or inviting. The only TV is upstairs in a bedroom. The dining table is a 2-3 person small high top. There are only paper plates,cups,bowls and plastic silverware— no actual plates/bowls/silverware or glasses. It would have been nice to have a toaster. The bed downstairs had what seemed to be construction dust/particles on the sheets. The house itself has obviously had updates made. But it’s all of the other things that made it uncomfortable for our family.
