This was a great cabin to visit as a last minute reservation for a group of friends. We brought our dogs and they loved it as well. Communication with the hosts was great and we really didn’t have any issues at all. The cabin has some quirks and it’s a little bare bones compared to some of the more luxury cabins in the area, but it is priced fairly for what is there. Our only feedback for improvement is that the bedrooms need dressers and lamps! We had a great time and the cabin was a great setting to spend time with friends.

This was the cleanest vacation rental we’ve had in years. We have food allergies and always have to rewash dishes and/or scrub kitchen spaces, but not here! The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels stocked, and they even provided enough essentials (dish soap, laundry pods, trash bags, toiletries, etc.) to last the week. The host, cleaning lady, and maintenance team were responsive, kind, and helpful. They even brought us a new coffee pot when they found out a Keurig just couldn’t keep up with our gaggle of caffeine addicts. We highly recommend staying here!

We requested an early check in weeks prior that we were told we would need to request in a 24 to 48 hour window which I did again and was denied. We still hadn’t received check in instructions well after 4 pm. There was trash found under beds along with sand in the made bed. A wood roach was crawling on my mother in her bad late at night. We were denied a late check out with a fee as well. These are good for the price however the management team could use some work.

Here’s what we did after reading your review: - Check-in/communication: We updated our arrival messaging and staff procedures so check-in instructions are sent reliably before 4 PM, and early-check-in requests are reviewed and responded to more promptly. Early check-in still depends on turnover, but we’ll communicate availability sooner. - Housekeeping: We reinforced our cleaning checklist (including under beds and mattress inspection), retrained the team, and added an extra pre-arrival inspection to prevent sand or debris in bedding. - Pest control: We scheduled an inspection and treatment and increased monitoring to prevent future issues. - Late checkout: Late departures remain subject to availability and a fee when applicable. We apologized for how this was handled and reminded staff to offer clearer options when guests request it. We appreciate you calling out what needs improvement.
