Poor communication throughout

The amount charged bore no resemblence to the amount advertised as the price doubled for a 4 person occupancy. This was not clear from the website. We could have rented a simislar property for a month for what we paid for 6 days. When we arrived the property owner had no information from VRBO about our booking and payment. They actually had another booking for the 2nd night. We were unaware that the property had no aircon in the 2nd bedroom and that the bathroom was shared. The owners were as halpful as they could be but Vrbo had put them in a very difficult position. Also the Vrbo app cannot be downloaded in Thailand and the owners seemed to have no idea the property was advertised there.
