Hilbringer Castle is located in the lush Merzig-Wadern district and<br>in the border triangle of Germany, France, and Luxembourg.<br>The castle dates back to the 13th century and was rebuilt around 1745<br>according to the plans of the renowned architect Christian Kretzschmar.<br>In July 2020, we—ACT Projekt GmbH & Co. KG—purchased this stunning, historic property<br>and have since extensively renovated it.<br><br>Three elegant and very cosy holiday apartments in the castle<br>as well as<br>another beautiful holiday apartment in the adjoining service wing await your visit!<br><br>The “Jean Huart” holiday apartment is located in the castle’s service wing and is laid out as follows:<br><br>1 bedroom with a new “box spring” double bed<br>1 bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink<br>1 kitchen with dining area and pantry;<br>Amenities: hob, refrigerator (with fridge and freezer compartments), sink, oven + microwave, and all standard kitchen utensils<br>and<br>a living area with a large corner sofa and TV<br><br> The entire holiday rental covers approximately 60 m²

Had a great stay! Came for a tennis tournament nearby and we were very pleased with the unit. Very spacious, comfy beds and good kitchen. Very clean and were able to check in late no problem. Very well stocked kitchen that had everything we needed to cook. They even left us a few treats, which was very appreciated. Didn’t have time to use the pool, but it would have been nice to escape the heat. No problem that the unit had no a/c as the old stone building stayed cool and the fan was enough at night. Parking was easy, great location and very quiet. Would def recommend and would stay again :)

Urlaub Saarschleife

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in dem schönen Gesindehaus sehr genossen. Der Besitzer war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bei der Einrichtung hätten wir ihn gerne ein wenig beraten . Das Gebäude ist ein Traum der „ Schlossgarten „ ebenfalls. Negativ waren nur Fewo direkt die , die Resevierung nicht an den Besitzer weitergeleitet hat und dieser ein wenig über unsere Anreise überrascht war. Allerdings hat dieser professionell reagiert.Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder .

Fijn verblijf

Accomodatie is uitstekend met een hele aardige gastheer! En wat een schitterende omgeving; geschikt voor fietsers en wandelaars dus wij komen hier nog weleens terug 🙂
