Great house in a super safe neighborhood that is convenient to pretty much anywhere in Des Moines. Added bonus, kids loved the playground across the street. Owner was very responsive to our minor issues (lost a remote) and check-in/check-out was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again.

The home was clean, very nice and we enjoyed our stay. Our confirmation did not have the correct address of the home, so please confirm and update for future guests. GPS would not have worked!Upon our arrival and walk-through, we found that the master bathtub water faucet was running and couldn't be shut off. Contacted host and service was rendered within an hour. Noticed that in the laundry room there were towels in the dryer and a basket with dirty towels sitting nearby. Also a basket of clean towels by the laundry room door in the hallway. Appeared staff hadn't finish prepping the property before our arrival. The kitchen sink needs to be replaced, and the drains smelled -- definitely need to be cleaned! Beautiful large home and we had plenty of room for our group of seven. Appliances we used worked fine. Enjoyed the outdoor patio in the evening, and glad to have chair cushions the second night. Would be nice to have mirrors in all the bedrooms. The only mirror in the lower level was in the bathroom, and no mirrors in either of the two bedrooms in the lower level, and none in one of the main floor bedrooms. Dresser/drawers would be nice if staying longer, but since we were only staying two nights not an issue.Our host was great to work with as she quickly responded to any questions we had. Glad we could use all three garage stalls as we came from various areas and had five cars to park. Garage door closing/opening was different, but worked.

The house was perfect for our family get-together. Spacious is exactly the right word, everyone had plenty of room. Still, the best part was eating and playing games together in the dining room and kitchen. The neighborhood is so pretty and idyllic, we took an evening walk in the park. Communication with the host was easy, friendly, and quick, and there were no issues of any kind. We will gladly come back again soon!
