Kayaks are seasonal & are provided ONLY WHEN THE LAKE IS BOATABLE. Experience seems to indicate that there is usually boatable water to the dock from around the middle of April until mid to mid-September.

Note: Douglas Lake is a TVA impoundment of the French Broad River, and TVA lowers the water level during the fall and winter months. No guarantees can, or will, be given as to available water levels.
