You can park right in front of the entrance. Check-in is contactless—private and modern. Wi-Fi and secure storage for your own bicycles or sports equipment are standard features at this property. Also included are a portable cot, a high chair, a stair gate, and outlet covers. They’ve even thought of the youngest travellers here.
The kitchen area is also fully equipped. Here you’ll find everything from an induction cooktop to an egg cooker and a microwave—all the kitchen appliances you could possibly need to prepare culinary delights. On the adjacent rooftop terrace, you’ll find high-quality patio furniture, a parasol, and a gas grill.
In addition to the kitchen area, the dining area and relaxation zone are intelligently integrated into the living space. Here you’ll find a radio, Smart TV, books, games, and comfortable seating. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer unobstructed views of the lake and the opposite shore. All bedrooms feature wonderfully comfortable box-spring beds, a Smart TV, and ample closet space for your holiday wardrobe.

Just a few minutes’ drive away, a bit off the beaten track from the tourist hotspots of Willingen and Winterberg, lies the little village of Heringhausen, nestled in the midst of a lush green natural area and right on the beautiful Lake Diemel. Whether you’re seeking peace and quiet, looking for an active holiday, or travelling with the whole family, you’ll experience breathtaking views and unspoiled nature on certified hiking trails and designated mountain bike and cycling routes. For a day trip, crystal-clear streams and romantic villages with historic buildings await your discovery in the immediate vicinity. The Fort Fun Adventure Park in Bestwig, Winterberg, Berleburg Castle, and Willingen—a town known far beyond the state’s borders among party-loving guests—are also nearby. For now(!), Heringhausen and the Diemelsee holiday village are still considered absolute hidden gems in the region. However, the local tourist information centre has already undergone an extensive renovation and offers its guests—in addition to its super-friendly and helpful staff—an indoor and outdoor swimming pool with an adjacent wellness and sauna area, as well as an interactive exhibition about Lake Diemelsee.
