Dome River House is centrally located just 7.5 miles from downtown Wimberley, 7 miles from the Canyon Lake Marina, and 45 miles from downtown Austin. Surrounded by native trees and wide-open skies, this distinctive retreat offers the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

Inside, the home features four comfortable bedrooms and two full bathrooms, with a spacious layout designed for families and groups. Downstairs, you’ll find one bedroom with a king bed and another with two twin beds, while upstairs includes a bedroom with a king and twin bed and a second bedroom with two twin beds—providing flexible sleeping arrangements for a variety of group sizes. The fully equipped kitchen makes meal prep easy, and the inviting living room with a wood-burning stove creates the perfect gathering space after a day outdoors. A washer and dryer and Starlink WiFi add convenience and connectivity, even in this peaceful setting.

Outside, multiple seating areas invite you to slow down and take in the scenery, while a huge rock fire pit and BBQ grill set the stage for memorable evenings under the stars. When you’re ready to cool off, simply drive down the paved road directly to your private riverfront rock deck, where you’ll enjoy both deep and shallow areas of the river in a serene, secluded setting. This Hill Country dome is more than just a place to stay, it’s a destination all its own.

For safety, privacy, and insurance purposes, access to the property - including the river - is reserved exclusively for registered guests on the reservation. No outside visitors or day guests will be able to come access the river or grounds during your stay. We truly appreciate your understanding in helping us maintain a peaceful and secure environment for everyone.

Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Turn all thermostats up to 74 degrees. In the winter just turn them off.
Double-check closets, drawers, outlets for cords, and outdoor areas. Once the home is serviced and new guests have arrived, we cannot guarantee the recovery or return of any left behind items.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
This home allows 9 guests maximum, including children. No day guests are allowed. Reservations exceeding this limit may be cancelled without refund.
Instead of a damage deposit, a temporary credit card hold will be placed 24-hours before arrival for incidentals and only charged if damages occur.
All guests must be 25 or older unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
