About this property

Finca La Hoya 1 - Tradition meets modernity - sea views, pool & conservatory

The finca offers modern, pleasant, and contemporary comfort. Yet it has retained its typical Canarian character. Thanks to new eco-friendly technologies—from photovoltaic systems for generating electricity to solar thermal systems for hot water, and even a heated pool with air conditioning in every room for both warm and cool days—life at the finca is pure relaxation.

The finca features a main building with a patio (inner courtyard) as well as several outbuildings, all of which have been converted into small apartments or rooms. The main building includes a living room with an adjoining bedroom and an en suite bathroom. There is also a kitchen with a dining area and an additional bathroom with a washing machine and dryer, which guests are welcome to use. This bathroom, the living room, and the kitchen are connected via the patio, which is covered and largely glass-enclosed. This patio also leads to the spacious terrace facing the sea and provides access to the other buildings. The living room, bedroom, and dining room of the main building offer a magnificent view of the sea. The living room features comfortable seating for 5 people and is furnished with traditional local furniture. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator with a separate freezer compartment. There is plenty of tableware available. The terrace features a large table with chairs for meals or cosy get-togethers.

Both large houses and the kitchen are equipped with wood-burning stoves.
Firewood is available on-site and costs 6 € per basket. It will be billed upon checkout.

Guests also have access to a charcoal grill for outdoor use as well as free Wi-Fi.

Electricity and hot water are provided in an environmentally friendly manner via photovoltaic or solar systems, or electrically when necessary. We’ll explain how to use these systems in the welcome letter before your arrival. By being mindful of your usage, you can help minimise the amount of electricity drawn from the public grid. Please note that any electricity consumption not covered by the PV or solar system will be billed at 25 cents per kWh upon checkout.

There is space to park several vehicles in the driveway leading to the house. In the rear patio, there is a large pool that accommodates up to 8 people. This pool is not normally heated, so the water temperature depends on the weather. Upon request and for an additional fee, the pool can be electrically heated to a constant temperature of 30 degrees. In addition, a sheltered spot for a cosy breakfast has been set up behind a natural stone wall covered in vegetation, and an area for sun loungers has been arranged on the garden pavilion. The small garden next to the house invites you to admire the splendour of flowers and plants that bloom almost year-round. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the lemons and other fruits from our own trees.

Upon request, a breakfast roll service can be arranged for guests. Fresh, local rolls are then delivered by the baker from Monday through Saturday. Payment is made directly to the driver.

If needed, a cot and high chair can be rented for €5 per day. Dogs and other pets are not allowed.

Wunderbare Finca
