Pros: Again , and for the third time now , we enjoyed a fantastic ten day holiday in this fabulous place.This house and its surroundings are simply magical.The villa really has everything and the landlords , Francisco and Pilar take very good care of their guests. Hope we can do it again next year.

Pros: This is an excellent villa close to the centre of Alora. Superb views of the Andalusia countryside yet within easy walking distance of the town centre. We enjoyed a very relaxing week at the property and appreciated the easy access to the excellent local supermarket. The villa offers excellent value for money and because of its convenient yet relatively secluded location, does not need a hire car. Hope to return again one day.

A lovely villa with amazing views

Pros: The hosts were very helpful and a pleasure to meet. The swimming pool was a blessing with the hot temperatures. Very close to the supermarket making shopping nice and easy. Cons: It was a little hot for my liking with the temperature 5/6 degrees above the normal, but that is not something you can control!

Pros: Booked accommodation for group of friends to celebrate a retirement. Lovely villa, outstanding setting and views, perfect for us. We came to cycle and the countryside is perfect for cyclists - quiet roads, lots of hills, beautiful villages and spectacular scenery. Alora is a small town but had good range of bars and restaurants and we were very happy with the places that we went to. Would strongly recommend both this villa and the area to visit and would add that we felt this was extremely good value. Thank you.

Pros: First of all house was beautiful and the location was perfect. Peace and quiet. We were very pleased to stay in that house. Alora is very nice, small town. You can find places to eat and drink. Its very well situated so you can make trips to Malaga or Marbella and El Chorro lake which is amazing. The owners were very helpful and very friendly. Thank you for everything. I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you looking for relaxation.

Pros: We stayed for 5 days/6 nights in this beautiful house in Alora. Walking distance from bakery's, shops, tapas etc. At the same time very private house with wonderful touch and feel. The hosts, Francesco & Pilar, are wonderful people with good sense for taste and hospitality when hosting guests in their own house. We all enjoyed the stay very much. Malaga (also with train 40") , Ronda etc is all close by. Also near is a very beautiful track for a walk (Caminito del Rey). We could have stayed many many days more!

Pros: Our holyday can best be described as the most perfect holiday we have ever had. We had a beautiful house with a pool ALL to ourselves. We could jump into the pool every other hour and then enjoy the sun and the view. And then - if we had the physical strength - we could walk 25 meters to the large supermarket to buy everything we could wish for. We have really enjoyed the beautifully situated house and its surroundings, and our family have had a very relaxing holiday - this has totally met our expectations.

Great hosts and great location

Pros: This house could be one of the best locations in Álora. The supermarket is 2 minutes and bars/restaurants/shops 10 minutes away but it is quite peaceful here. The view across the valley is fantastic, something you can look at for hours. The house has everything you need, it's not brand new but all functional. Beds are comfy and shower works well. BBQ area catches the sun at the end of the day. Unfortunately there was a storm for a couple of days but the hosts kept in contact with us to make sure we were okay and they were quick to respond when we had a couple of questions. Very friendly people who we are sure would help you with anything. Cons: Too cold to use the pool this month!!! But it will be great for in the summer :-)

Pros: Francisco and his family met us upon arrival and made sure we were given a tour of the villa and made to feel very welcome. The villa is set high up at the top of the lovely village of Alora, which means the views are stunning and our whole family spent a lot of time in the lovely pool enjoying the view. The villa was very clean and has all you might need for a family holiday. The Supermercado is just outside the villa so all your domestic needs are right there including a ready supply of Sangria. Francisco was very kind and treated us to a great wine tasting of the very good wines his own winery produces I can recommend them as excellent. Alora is very beautiful and has a good range of bars and restaurants to visit and the local people are very friendly. My whole family enjoyed our stay very much and would love to return for another visit. This is a lovely family house and we had a great time. Thank you Francisco.

Prachtige locatie, maar van binnen wat verouderd

Pros: Geweldige locatie, op loopafstand van het centrum en supermarkt heel dichtbij. Gastheer/-vrouw reageert snel op appjes. Cons: Beetje verouderde inboedel, bedden niet zo goed en kussens niet schoon (beddengoed wel). Beetje weinig handdoeken ook. Huis is prima voor met z'n vieren, maar niet voor 7 personen. We hadden toen we aankwamen koud water, maar dat werd snel opgelost.

Pros: Fantastisk hus med ppol og skønt udsigt. Supermarkedet på 2 minutter afstand. Vært var meget hjælpsommelig og svarede meget hurtigt. Cons: Der var kun airco i stuen ikke i soveværelser

Pros: Vi har tillbringat en härligt avkopplande vecka i Alora. Byn var vid vår vistelse ganska befriad från turister och utbud av tapasbarer och serveringar var bra. Prisnivån i byn var var en mycket trevlig överraskning. Huset vi hyrde motsvarade vår förväntningar mycket väl. Våra värdar var omtänksamma och måna om att visa oss tillrätta vid ankomst trots att vi anlände på en lite obekväm tid. Kommunikationen från värdarna var utmärkt innan hyra och de var snabba på att besvara våra frågor. Huset är bra beläget i utkanten av byn och kanske fem minuters promenad till serveringar etc. En minut från huset finns en välsorterad supermercado. Ogenerat läge trots närhet till ovanstående. Kan vara bra att veta att det inte är helt lätt att hitta till bostaden, men ställ in din GPS på närmsta gata så hittar du fint. Brant uppfart till huset, men du klarar det fint även med en vanlig bil Sammantaget kan vi inte annat än varmt rekommendera både hus och värdar

Hver dag savner vi det solbeskinnede Alora, den skønne udsigt og poolen. Vi tænker hele tiden på den fantastiske udsigt over bjergene, den klare blå himmel, og den måde vi følte os fuldkommen afstressede efter vores ophold samt den lækre brune farve på vores hud efter solbadning hver dag ved poolen. Vi savner virkelig Spanien!

Pros: Prachtig gelegen huis, met alles wat je nodig hebt voor een ontspannen vakantie. Naast de supermarkt en op loopafstand van het stadje. Prachtige excursies te maken in de omgeving. Fijn dat er elektrische kacheltjes waren, het was eind april vooral 's avonds nog erg koud. De WiFi deed het prima. Nog wat tips: Het was wat lastig om het huis te vinden: een aanduiding dat het hek naast de Parking is van de Mercadona, had ons heel wat zoeken bespaart... Informatie over de omgeving, de winkels, de markt en de openingstijden, de artsen e.d. zou fijn zijn.

Pros: Vi hadde et veldig fint femdagersopphold i dette huset. Siden det var vinter prøvde vi ikke bassenget, men det så veldig fint ut. Huset var flott utstyrt, og alt vi trengte av såper, søppelsekker, krydder mm var i huset allerede, noe som gjorde at vi ikke trengte å kjøpe inn annet enn mat, og Mercadona supermarked er rett medenfor i huset:) veldig lettvint! Like ved er også en bodega som huseieren faktisk eier. Både rødvin og hvitvin veldig gode. Alora var en skikkelig koselig by, og på en torgplass under 10 min gåtur fra huset var det lekeplass og noen kafeer som var veldig ok, både tapas og øl, eller kaffe og sandwicher var excellent value:) superfornøyde med denne turen:) og husvertene var fleksible i forhold til inn/utsjekking og veldig kvikke til å svare på spm:)

Pros: Prachtige ligging,zeer mooi huis. Schitterend voor een rustige vakantie. Supermarkt en veel restaurants naast de deur. Zeer correct en goed contact met de eigenaars ondanks de taalhandicap. Problemen worden onmiddellijk opgelost.
