House was clean and had all of the essentials. Beautiful setting and easy access. Only wish was to be closer to the beach. Otherwise, perfect.

Checking in to this home, felt like going to a family vacation home as a kid. The space was welcoming and homey. Our children loved the stay and proximity to the beach. We spent many hours playing game, letting our dogs run on the beach, and relaxing on the porch.The room for improvement comes in the need to ceiling fans in the bedrooms (it was in the 60’s during our stay but the bedrooms were quite stuffy, even with the windows open) and as other reviews mentioned, the stairs are quite steep. While overall the home is clean, there was noticeable dusting needed on some of the decor and ceilings.Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

I guess my review of this house comes from the view of myself who is 70 and my father who is 90 who stayed there. The steps are a killer. You have to climb about 20 steps to get to the front door and then when you’re in there you have to climb 13 more to get up to the bedroom and I suppose for young families it’s perfectly fine but it wasn’t for us. I found some things in the upstairs shower that a person doesn’t really wanna find in a rental home. Most all of the screens were torn out and a lot of the doors moldy. Was it awful? No, was it great also no.

The screens throughout the home have been replaced, and the other reported maintenance items have been addressed. We have also taken additional steps to address the musty conditions in the lower level, including the use of dehumidifiers and other moisture-control measures. Guest feedback is important to us, and we appreciate the opportunity to make improvements to the home for future stays.
