The lake and restaurants are within walking distance. In three of the four bedrooms, the double beds can also be used as two single beds, so you have a choice depending on the travelling party. In winter, the mountain landscape lies under a thick carpet of snow and the green Alpine meadows are transformed into perfectly groomed slopes. Snow-sure, wide pistes and fast comfortable lifts make this a wonderful ski area for the whole family. Thanks to the large amounts of snow on Turracher Höhe, it is often possible to ski right up to near the Lodge or to the slopes. So a ski in - ski out with the ski bus stop right outside the door! The Nocky Express stops right outside the door and gets you to the ski lifts in 5 minutes. Rather not ski for a day? On the Turracher Höhe you can also enjoy beautiful cross-country skiing, winter hiking, sledding and ice-skating on the Turrach See. Pure nature and a wide range of sporting activities make the Turracher Höhe a versatile holiday destination in the summer months too. There is plenty to do for young and old alike. Especially for families, the area offers many organised activities such as themed walks and treasure hunts. Furthermore, there is a Bike Park, the Nocky Flitzer alpine roller coaster and water cycling and supping are among the possibilities. Pure tranquillity is what you will find as soon as you put on your hiking boots. Nestled between the mountain ranges of the Niedere Tauern and the Nockberge mountains, it is tremendous fun.
