Our extended stay at the Nest was great for our family of 3. There is enough space for both children to play and adults to relax. Water equiptment was included and we were able to explore this area of Old Lyme, with both a beach and cove to see. The balcony and seating downstairs gave us additional spots to hang out as well, and for travel, shopping, etc., you are conveniently located to Niantic and Old Saybrook. Sean and Brianne were very helpful and generous. Thank you!

Very cute apartment above the marina. We walked in and it was spotless. Probably the cleanest place we ever stayed. The host was so nice. Kayaking is included, but we opted not to because of our 9 months old. But it would be a wonderful addition to a vacation. There are a lot of stairs, so if you have trouble on stairs this may not be the best option. But the views are stunning.

Incredible host who was responsive and communicated well. Was able to provide us with accommodations for our daughter who is two years old. It’s a fantastic property for water activities and they even had a little music one of the nights we stayed. Just as a caution for parents it’s right by a major roadway that has constant traffic and you will need to mask the noise of cars overnight. We did so with the provided fan in the room and our own white noise machine. Was nice to wake up to the water every morning and if you are able to take advantage of the kayaking/canoing they have friendly staff. We spent the majority of our stay running around the area doing beach trips and going to mystic. But compared to the prices other offered this is a nice deal and very quiet on the weekends to enjoy the sunshine. Having stayed in many Air B N B’s this was our first VRBO. Shawn was by far the most accommodating and relaxed host we have had to date. May become our new family spot for the future summer shoreline trips.
