This place is super cute and in a beautiful area. We were easily able to take advantage of the bus system. The property management did respond quickly to our needs and was generous in letting us drop off our luggage early. You are on the basement level which you enter around back and can be confusing after long travel day. Listing mentions upstairs noise. You can hear everything! And upstairs can hear you. We apparently must of gotten a noise complaint for coming in late on 4th of July but then next night we were woken up early from the upstairs. A few times we heard the door connecting upstairs and downstairs door knob shaking. Listing also says basement doesn’t have A/C. There is A/C but it is controlled by the upstairs. Even with all the vents closed it was cold. I had to contact management to ask upstairs renters to turn up. I have stayed in many home rentals this was the first where the basement apartment wasn’t independent of the main house. Lastly the shower is slippery!
